Bromsgrove Junior Hockey Club

Our U10s played in the final Worcestershire tournament last Sunday. We sent two teams and both progressed and competed so well. Sunday morning training will resume for U6/8/10 at 10.30 on Sunday 3rd May. See you then!

Badgers has a 4-2 win under the lights against an experienced Evesham side. Again, everyone worked really hard for each other and they played some great hockey to come away with the win. Special thanks to Logan for helping them out.

Hockey Festival at Solihull School.

Our u10 girls team has a great tournament today against Sutton, Old Sills and Solihull Prep School. We had 2 wins and a draw and came away as winners. Some fantastic hockey on display, well done everyone.

The U10 boys also played at Solihull today. They had some really close competitive matches and learnt lots ahead of the first round of the In2 hockey competition tomorrow.

They had no subs and as you can see, it was hard work for them 🤣 but they all kept going and played some lovely hockey!

A great afternoon for our u12 teams at the Worcestershire tournament. Some really great hockey and only 1 defeat across our 10 matches!Thanks to BKH for hosting.

The U16 girls were back in action away to Stratford. Despite sending a young squad of just ten players, the girls stuck at it and had a lot of the ball in dangerous areas, but Stratford overloaded well on the counter. Some passages of play were really good to watch but ultimately they lost 5-3. The younger girls have really stepped up this year and it’s been great having different ages playing together for the Bromsgrove massive! Big thanks to Emma and Ben for all their work with the girls this season. As this group are all still U15, next season should be exciting for them.
We sent two U12 squads to the Worcestershire tournament. With lots of match play to be had it gave these players the opportunity to work on their game understanding and team work. The coaches were really pleased with the progression shown throughout the day and congratulate all the players. Thanks as ever to the coaches/managers/supporters.

A busy weekend for the BHC juniors. Very proud of a great team performance from the U16 girls, winning 11-0 away at Edgbaston. With four goals from Grace and a hatrick from Charlotte.
The U8s and U10s were also in action at the Wyre Forest tournament. Despite the challenging weather, it provided great match experience for all involved and everyone worked hard for their team.
The badgers had another great win at Evesham continuing their successful season. Thanks to all the amazing volunteer coaches, managers and supporters!

A busy end to the first half of the season for the juniors with our badgers, U12 boys and girls all with fixtures plus a jolly festive training session to round off 2025 for the U6/8/10s. The U10s were also in action at the Redditch tournament yesterday. Great to see so many of our players developing their hockey and having fun.
