Forget the Oscars, Broughton Padel and Tennis are doing the club proud! Here's more on their fabulous recent achievement:

Broughton Padel and Broughton Tennis were jointly recognised as Club of the Year 2025 in the Tennis Lancashire County Level awards within the LTA Tennis Awards sponsored by Lexus.

We collected the award at Hightown Tennis Club on Sunday at the awards ceremony, following the Tennis Lancashire AGM. The award was presented by Sandi Proctor, LTA President

Great news for Broughton to receive this prestigious award

Congratulations to everyone involved in the Padel and Tennis sections!

Broughton Padel has arranged for Nick Williams, LTA Master Padel Tutor, to be at Broughton Padel of Saturday 29th March to hold three coaching sessions of two hours each. Here's a link to his website, The Coach Station: https://thecoachstation.co.uk/

This opportunity was advertised first to Broughton Padel Members, but a few spaces remain on the Intermediate/Advanced session between 15.00 and 17.00. We are now opening the chance to book these spaces to all those who have booked a court at Broughton Padel since we opened back in October 2024.

As Nick is in high demand and has a day rate that we need to cover, all bookings please need to be made on or before 6th March 2025. This is to ensure the Event is financially viable and can go ahead. Obviously, we very much hope that it will as this is a great opportunity to learn from one of the very best Padel coaches out there.

Beginner Level Padel Coaching

The coaching team from Wayne Scott Tennis & Padel (link below) are holding a 4-week Beginner Course on Tuesdays at 13.00. All sessions are open to Members and Non-Members alike, will last 1 hour each, and Padel rackets and balls will be provided. Follow the link for details.

Player Categories

To form a baseline for future Social Events and Coaching Broughton Padel has implemented a set of Player Categories for players to self-assess against. Details on the website on the Coaching and Events pages.

The Player Categories are designed to help ensure all players attending Coaching and Social Events get the standard of play that they expect and are comfortable with.

Court Booking Cancellation Policy

Broughton Padel implemented on opening the Padel courts the following Cancellation Policy for Court Bookings. This is to recognise the impact of weather conditions during late autumn and winter months.

“Between the months of October and March you can cancel online up to 2 hours before your booking,. Between the months of April and September you can cancel online up to 24 hours before your booking, A full refund will be made back to the card used to make the payment for the booking.”

An Xbox Series S and 3 Month Ultimate Game Pass is there to be won. Every court booking at Broughton Padel, excluding those which are cancelled and refunded for any reason, between 1st November 2024 and 18th December 2024 will qualify for entry.

Taster Sessions!

1 hour taster sessions called Padel Basics are now on offer hosted by our coaching team from Wayne Scott Tennis & Padel

They are free to attend, for Members and Non-Members and Padel rackets and balls are provided.

Just to provide an update on the floodlights, the great news is that the lighting issue has been fully resolved and Broughton Padel is now open for bookings for the whole day: 08.00 – 22.00!
