After the events of the last 24 hours, the club has came to the difficult decision to postpone Saturday's Quiz Night.

This is the last thing we wanted to do but we need to think of those involved and hope for a positive outcome, we look forward to hosting a bigger and better night in the New Year for a rescheduled quiz night.

We can't apologise enough and thank you all for your cooperation as we navigate this difficult time together as a Football Club.

A massive thank you to Downies of Whitehills for sponsoring brand new training rain jackets for the players! 👏

With the North East of Scotland winter now firmly here, these jackets will be godsends for the lads keeping them dry on Tuesday and Thursday nights, while they're putting the hard work in on the Astro!⚽️

Local businesses support means a lot to a club like Buckie Rovers, and we’re delighted to have Downies on board supporting the club.

Pictured is Downies Managing Partner, Alan Downie, presenting the new jackets to Buckie Rovers defender Liam Forbes.

Thanks once again to Alan and everyone at Downies Of Whitehills for their support. It’s very much appreciated by everyone at the club! 🤝

Buckie Rovers Football Club are delighted to announce the return of Mathew Henderson!

‘Hendo’ returns to the club following a spell with Moray & District Welfare League champions Aberlour Villa FC, where he played a massive part in securing a second consecutive league title for the Speyside club.

A familiar face around the Rovers, Hendo was a key part of our four trophy winning welfare side and previously represented the club at NOSFL level pre abeyance.

With plenty of experience at this level, including further spells in the league with Whitehills and Islavale, Hendo brings valuable experience and versatility to the squad with him being able to slot into a number of positions in the team.

Fresh off the back of his first start of the season on Saturday, slotting in at centre half alongside skipper Declan Clark, he produced a solid performance playing his part in keeping a clean sheet in difficult conditions up until the game was abandoned.

Hendo already has a number of sponsors for the season ahead, but anyone wishing to add to the growing list of his sponsors then just simply message the page and we will get it sorted, sponsorship costs £20 for the season and there is no limit on how many sponsors a player can have.

Welcome back, Hendo!

An extremely busy Saturday ahead for the club⚽️🚌🧠💡

First of all, the big game👊🏻

🆚Glentanar Juniors FC
🏟️Woodside Sports Complex
🏆NOSFL Championship
📆Saturday 31st October
⏰2pm

Another away day and bus trip for the lads as we make the trip through to Aberdeen to face high flying Glentanar.

The hosts sit 2nd in the table having played 3 more games than us and are having a great season so far, they have been scoring lots of goals along the way and are coming into Saturday with real momentum after back to back wins and clean sheets. This is going to be a incredibly tough challenge and one we are going to need to really be up for if we are to leave Aberdeen with anything from the game this weekend.

The lads will be looking to put Saturday's match abandonment disappointment firmly out of sight, with us looking to start climbing our way back up the table towards the leading pack in the league, with Saturday's opponents being one of them.

We hope to see a good crowd through to support the lads in Aberdeen, you all braved the horrendous weather to support the lads on Saturday and it was greatly appreciated by every single person involved with the club, so a strong away following Saturday would also be greatly appreciated.

Then post-match it is a quick turn around and back to Buckie on the bus as we get set to host our second sold out Buckie Rovers Quiz Night taking place in the Buckie Thistle Football Club Function Hall.

Always a great night and a great laugh had amongst all, we look forward to seeing the competitive edge between all the teams and it'll be interesting to see what team is the brainiest and comes out on top at the end of the night!🧠

There will be plenty raffles available on the night and there will be other things going on such as a wheel of fortune and closest £1 thrown to the bottle, plenty going on to keep all entertained. Remember your cash on the night!

We look forward to seeing you all for a great night ahead on Saturday night🍻🥂🥃🍷

Buckie Rovers Football Club are delighted to announce the return of Aaron O’Hara!

Aaron re-joins the club following his travels around Asia. He is no stranger to Buckie Rovers, having finished as the club’s top scorer at welfare level in 2025.

Before heading off on his travels, Aaron enjoyed a fruitful spell in front of goal at welfare side Craigellachie this year, finding the net 16 times in just 10 games before departing for Asia.

A striker who possesses many qualities, Aaron has already shown what he brings to the team at this level, providing an impressive assist against Whitehills in his second game back and finding the back of the net with a proper striker’s finish in yesterday’s game against New Elgin before the match was frustratingly abandoned.

We’re delighted to have Aaron back at the club, and his goalscoring ability will be a great asset to the squad for the remainder of the season and beyond.

Aaron is available to sponsor for the 26/27 season for just £20, as per usual there is no limit on the amount of sponsors Aaron can have, anyone wishing to sponsor him just simply message the page.

Welcome back to the Rovers, Aaron!

A pleasure as always to have Nate back again as mascot for the day, he was on course to be our lucky charm but sadly that wasn't allowed to happen.

Some great photos of him having a kickabout with Ross Fiske pre match and walking out with his Dad Russell McLaughlin, looks like a great day was had⚽️

GAME ABANDONED:

Today's NOSFL Championship fixture v New Elgin has been abandoned 60 minutes in with Buckie Rovers leading 1-0.

Very, very frustrating considering we have played that long of the game in that conditions, makes it even more frustrating as both teams were willing to play on.

Details of the outcome tbc.
