🍂 Hello September… and hello to a little more time for YOU.

The summer holidays are drawing to a close, the children are heading back to school, and life around our local community starts to find its routine again.

After a busy summer of looking after everyone else, rushing around, holidays and keeping the family entertained, September can be the perfect opportunity to stop and think about your own wellbeing.

Step into wellness sessions being run locally this summer at Neetside community centre

Step Into Wellness is coming to Neetside Community Centre this August! 🌿

Designed around you, this FREE, welcoming programme from Age UK Cornwall helps adults of all ages explore simple, practical ways to improve their health, happiness, and overall wellbeing.

🕥 Sessions run from 10:30am–12:00pm

📅 Week One:
Tuesday 4th August & Wednesday 5th August

📅 Week Two:
Tuesday 11th August & Wednesday 12th August

The programme explores five key areas of wellbeing across four sessions:

🤝 Social Connections
Discover how building and maintaining social connections can reduce anxiety and depression, support emotional wellbeing, and help us navigate change and challenging times.

🧘 Mindfulness
Learn techniques to connect with the present moment, helping you manage stress and develop a more positive relationship with yourself and your daily life.

🚶 Physical Activity & Learning New Skills
Explore how simple lifestyle changes and regular movement can boost both physical and mental wellbeing, while learning new skills can bring joy, confidence, and a sense of purpose.

💛 Giving & Course Review
We'll look at how giving time to support others can positively impact our own wellbeing and reflect on everything covered throughout the programme.

A great weekend supporting runners of the Talan's Trust🦁 Talan’s Notorious Trail. Everyone of the runners completed an amazing effort either running for 6, 12 or 24 hours. A brilliant event working alongside SE Sports Therapy and Robyn Maloney. 🦁

Freeman Physiotherapy is proud to be supporting the talanstrust TNT Ultra Marathon run this weekend!

We’ll be there supporting runners with any ni**les, aches and pains as competitors take on a 6, 12, and 24 hour race. There’s even a Cub Run for kids.

A 6/12/24 hour run consisting of a 5 mile looped course, taking in a stunning scenic route looking out over Widemouth Bay then taking the nature trail to the Wier and finally returning along Bude canal and back to the stunning views of the bay.
