Globe Reserves 5-4 Turf FC

A much better performance from the lads this week, really unfortunate to come away with nothing from that game.

The weather made it a scrappy game at times but a fantastic performance from the lads.

Ashley Bryan with a Man of the match performance and 4 goals all from distance with a goal of the season contender with a free kick from the halfway line that flew into the top corner.

We were unlucky not to score late on with Dayle Winstanley getting in a great position but couldn’t apply the finishing touch and our manager Ben Pilkington having his free kick from just inside the globe half tipped onto the crossbar..

Turf FC 2 - 6 Commercial

Unfortunately another defeat yesterday but the game was a lot closer than the scoreline may seem, couple of goal line clearances and a couple of chances that crashed against the woodwork kept us out, we keep going and fighting on

Goals from our our top goalscorer Ronan Wright from the penalty spot and captain Lee Witt with an unbelievable free kick gave us something to smile about.
