Friends of Briercliffe Bowling Green , please feel free to donate any plants to our club for the surrounding areas , also a bird bath if anyone has one available. Don’t forget FREE bowling sessions at briercliffe bowling club, opposite bus turning circle from 6.00pm. All equipment supplied. Members will be available to give help and advice.

Our free Wednesday night sessions are starting again on 15th April from 6.00 pm, run by Iain Paton and helpers. All are welcome, members and non members alike. All equipment available and advise given. Come and give crown green bowling a try! You never know, you may get hooked!
Don’t worry if you can’t make it on Wednesday, provided a member is present, the green is open and costs £1 to non members including use of equipment.

Getting ready for the start of the bowling season, members preserving benches for the enjoyment of bowlers and the community

Last month was a hive of activity at the briercliffe memorial bowling green. Our members turned out to dismantle the away shed, powerwash the benches and clean the newly refurbished toilets, one being a disabled toilet. A fantastic turnout and jobs well done
