What a weekend that was! Taking 4 amazing dragons fighters upto Dundee to fight on the Unstoppable International show.

Angelina was up first and put on an absolute masterclass performance. After the first round bell went her opponent didn't come out for the second round making her the New WKO Intercontinental Champion at just 9 years old. This kid is on fire at the moment 🔥

Next up was Tomasz fighting Charlie. The starting pace of the fight was super fast as expected, with both landing heavy shots throughout. Tomasz had some good head movement and there was a few times that I thought Tomasz was going to get the stoppage with some massive shots but Charlie managed to hang on and do just enough to claim the belt with a split decision. Nothing but respect for this young warrior. 🙌

After several hours of waiting its was Hannahs turn to fight. We already knew that Darcy was our toughest opponent of the night, and we had prepared ourselves for battle. We knew not to underestimate her but at the same time we all knew what Hannah is capable of. Hannah spent the first round analysing Darcys unique fighting style and then turned up the heat. Constant pressure with some fast strong hands on the inside combined with some well placed kicks, I was convinced we were up. Hannah literally doesn't have a scratch on her face after doing 5 full contact rounds for a world title. The judges scored it a split decision in favour of Hannahs opponent. I must say, I don't agree with the decision and I believe Hannah did enough to win. 🧐

Last up and the main event of the evening was Danielle fighting for the WKO Full Contact World title. Scheduled over 5 x 2 mins rounds with a very tough opponents she had already fought and beat last year. It was myself that convinced Danielle to do this fight and when she agreed it was upto me to prepare her. Having to cut 7kg in just 24 days stripping her from her initial weight of 76.5kg down to 69.9kg she actually weighed in at an impressive 67.5kg. She trained hard, listened to everything I said but on the night it wasnt enough. It was Clares night and I have nothing but respect for her. Danielle might not have got the win but I think this will give her the push she needs to take her training to the next level. 💪

Massive congratulations to all the winners and a huge thank you to Paul Skyaxe Kean and his team at Skyaxe for having us and for the opportunities. 🙏

Win or lose, I feel truly blessed to be surrounded by the people that make Dragons what it is.

📰📣 ****** EXCITING NEWS ****** 📰📣

On Saturday the 13th of June, we will have four fighters from Dragons Kickboxing Club travelling upto Scotland to fight for titles.

Angelina and Tomasz will be fighting for WKO Intercontinental titles.
Hannah and Danielle will be fighting for WKO World titles up in Dundee Scotland.

This is an absolutely huge thing for the fighters and the club.

Train hard, stay dedicated and I will always give opportunities to the ones that have proven themselves.

Four title shots on one show is huge and I would like to thank
Paul Kean and his team at Skyaxe for the opportunity. 🙏

Well done to all those that turned up to today's first AFSO Team GB squad training session at Dragons Kickboxing Club. 👏

Not many people want to give up two hours of their Sunday afternoon to train and thats the difference between you guys.

That extra dedication to the sport makes all the difference when theres 1001 other things you could have been doing.

Hope you all enjoyed it and thanks for making the first session a huge success. 🙌

The next squad training session will more than likely be in July as June is going to be a very busy month at Dragons.
