On Saturday morning our U21s make the trip to Unsworth Academy to take on Unsworth U21s.

Both sides won there opening match so all to play for!

Friday night our reserves team will make the trip to University of Manchester to take on their U23s side in which both sides are unbeaten so far!

Back to Saturday where our first team travel to Dukinfield Town, which we look to build on last weeks 5-1 victory!

🔥⚽️ FULL TIME | WALSHAW 5–1 OLD ALTRINCHAMIANS

What an outstanding performance from the lads this afternoon!

We welcomed the league leaders to Elton and produced our best result of the season, running out emphatic 5–1 winners.

Ezzy set us on our way with a superb first-half hat-trick ⚽️⚽️⚽️ before Riggers and Dayne both grabbed their first Walshaw goals to complete a fantastic afternoon.

⚽️ FULL TIME | HOWFEN U21s 2–3 WALSHAW U21s

What a way for our new Under 21s to start life wearing the Walshaw badge! 👏

There were good performances across the park as the lads produced an excellent display in their first game together.

Walshaw looked to be heading for the win before Howfen made it 2–2 with just two minutes remaining.

But the lads weren’t finished.

Alfie McDowall stepped up in the final minute to score his second of the game and secure a dramatic 3–2 victory! ⚽️🔥

Three points, a last-minute winner and a great start for a team we hope will provide an important pathway from junior through to senior football at Walshaw.

🆕⚽️ A NEW CHAPTER FOR WALSHAW

This Saturday morning marks the first game for our new Walshaw SC Under 21s, as they take on Howfen FC in the Bolton, Bury & District Football League.

For the first time, the lads will take to the pitch wearing the Walshaw badge.

The creation of our U21s is about more than adding another team. We want to develop a clear pathway at Walshaw, giving our junior players the opportunity to progress into U21s football and ultimately into our Reserve and First Teams.

It’s another important step as we continue to develop football at the club for the future.

⚽️ NEXT GAME | WALSHAW SC v OLD ALTRINCHAMIANS

We return to Manchester Football League Premier Division action this Saturday with a big test against the current league leaders, Old Altrinchamians.

After the disappointment of last weekend’s cup defeat, the lads will be looking to bounce back and put in a strong performance against the early pace-setters.

🏆 FULL TIME | BAGULEY ATHLETIC 3–0 WALSHAW

Our Manchester Challenge Trophy campaign comes to an end at the Preliminary Round stage as Baguley Athletic take the victory this afternoon.

A disappointing day for the First Team, but attention now turns back to the Manchester Football League and the chance to respond.
