Into a last month of the season

We’ve been waiting for the details for Oldham/ Bury Junior Championships this year and I’m happy to now bring those details to you all.

The event is on Sunday 13th April and is free to enter.

Address: Hulme Grammar Sports Hall, Chamber Road, Oldham OL8 4BX.
Time: 13:30 start, expected 15:30ish finish.

This is open to all juniors (under 18s), whether registered to a club or not.

I’d encourage everyone who’s available to have a go and see if you enjoy the experience of more competitive play. Also a good experience to see some of the best players in our local area playing each other in the Open Singles event.

Hi everyone, hope everyone is enjoying their summer.

Here at RTTA we’re working in the background to get ready for the new season.

For all our regulars we’ll be back open on Friday 13th September and the coaching team can’t wait to get back to it

So the last couple of weeks we've been working on going between backhand and forehand and some more advanced serves, with all the athletes really working hard on quite challenging tasks.

We've also had a couple of the players who came through the club, Corey Wild and Sam Jeffries, come down to the sessions for a helping hand and to show off some of their best shots.

Looking forward to Friday where Coach Dave will be leading the last session before a week off for half term.

Last Friday we had our first session back after Christmas.

To get everyone back into the swing of things, each table had its own challenge and the players took turns having one-to-ones with our experienced coaches.

Looking forward to seeing what coach Dave has in store for the players tomorrow 6:30-7:30pm
