Sports Massage By Lucy

Had a great day at the Barry 10K on Sunday, providing sports massage to support runners pre and post event and working with other amazing therapists to raise money for 🏃‍♀️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Last week was a busy one.

I had the opportunity to work with for the third time, providing soft tissue treatment during their visit to Wales again🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿, alongside an amazing team of sports massage therapists. I then had the opportunity to watch their game against Ospreys on the weekend. Thank you to for asking me to be part of this again😊

To round off the week, I volunteered at the wellbeing event at Ronald McDonald House. I always love being part of these days—being able to use my sports massage skills to bring a bit of comfort and make things a little easier for people going through tough times means a lot 💗

6 weeks in paediatrics🩺✅

During this placement, I had the opportunity to gain experience across both inpatient and outpatient settings. On the children’s ward, I supported respiratory physiotherapy, while my outpatient experience included MSK assessments and rehabilitation, supporting children with developmental delays, attending rheumatology clinics, and delivering physiotherapy sessions within special schools.

I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this placement and am grateful for the learning opportunities I have had✨
