A fantastic round for India and Edward Sancton Wood School Sancton Wood Equestrian Team. An unfortunate 4 penalty points at the jump which was catching a lot of riders out. Well done ! Now to head back three hours and avoid Bank hols traffic.

Well we have arrived at Hickstead international show ground! It’s a huge event with a Badmintonesque feel to it. Need a bit more SW marketing for next year Sancton Wood School Bear is in a super stable. Lorry unloaded. Kit pressed. Hair net at the ready. Good luck India for 10 am tm. 🐴

On Sunday The Sancton Wood Equestrian Team competed at Brook Farm Equestrian Centre in the NSEA regional show jumping qualifiers. We started the morning two riders down with a broken her arm from practicing for the competition the day before and poorly pony, Morris who was unwell.

The team put their best hoof forward and enjoyed a day full of success and rosettes. We had 2 riders competing in the 70cm Grass Roots regional qualifier and both the girls had fantastic clear rounds in super fast time and qualified for the champs in December. Another competed in the 90-95cm and did incredibly well, coming third overall, after another clear round and fast time. It was a great days work for the riders and horses and we are looking forward to the NSEA Grassroots championships on December the 20th where Evie, Lottie and Arabella will be representing the school.

In the meantime we wish Bea and Morris very speedy recoveries.

A fabulous day for the Sancton Wood Equestrian team. The team came home with a bucket full of rosettes in the 40cm to 90cm classes 🏵 .
Well done to Evie, who’s team debut outing won her a 1st in the 70cm grassroots qualifiers . Emily and Bea had fantastic results coming 1st and 2nd in their class!
Lottie and India did brilliantly on their horses in Norfolk in the 85 and 90cm with Lottie missing out by only one place in qualifying for the champs.
Well done team -here’s to the next competition 🤩
