A huge congratulations to our talented student Davide Zuin for his outstanding performance at the Harrogate KTA 10th Mayor Cup!
Facing a strong division of 14 competitors, Davide showed incredible determination and resilience to secure a well-earned ๐ฅ Bronze medal in the individual U14 Dan category after a challenging round.
The success didnโt stop there! Partnering with Emilia-Grace Cabrera from Loughton Taekwondo, Davide & Emilia-Grace went on to achieve ๐ฅ Gold in the U14 Dan pairs event โ an amazing accomplishment that highlights teamwork and skill.

G2 Bulgaria Open Poomsae
Another fantastic achievement for Zaw Torley at the G2 Bulgaria Open Poomsae competition! ๐ฅ
Competing in the highly competitive Under-30 Male category, Zaw faced an outstanding field of 46 athletes from all over the world. Demonstrating exceptional skill, focus, and determination, he delivered powerful performances throughout the rounds to secure a well-deserved bronze medal.๐ฅ
This result reflects not only Zawโs dedication and relentless hard work, but also the invaluable guidance and support of our club coach, Sang-young Park . A huge thank you to Master Park for his continued commitment, coaching excellence, and belief in his athletes.

German Open G1 2026
Fantastic news from our student, Zaw Torley, who competed yesterday at the German Open Poomsae G1 2026 in Wiesbaden.
Zaw fought in the highly competitive Under-30 male category, facing a strong field of 44 competitors โ and proudly brought home the gold ๐ฅ medal.
As always, a huge thank you to our club coach, Sang-young Park , for his continued guidance and support.

Big congratulations to our big sis Ling who has gone and smashed the European Championships yesterday in Tallinn, Estonia! Being selected as a replacement athlete just 5 weeks before the competitions, Ling has worked incredibly hard with her teammates, Sheena (NTC Odyssey) and Georgina (Aquila Taekwondo) to secure GB first ever U50 Female Team Silver at Europeans!
A well done to our not so little bro Zaw for representing GB for the first time in the Over 17 Freestyle divison. With a newly choreographed routine and improved acrobatic tricks, Zaw finished 10th place as one of the youngest athletes in his division. We are so excited to see Zaw continue to level up in this division. Onwards and upwards from here!

Good luck to our students Zaw Torley and Ling Tze at the European Championships tomorrow!
Zaw will be competing in O17 Freestyle and Ling will be competing in U50 Team division along with her teammates Sheena Au-Yeung and Gee Ingram.

As we wrap up the final week of preparations, we're excited to introduce the last athlete selected to represent GB at the World Poomsae Championships 2024 next week - Sheena Au-Yeung.
Sheena will be competing in the U50 Pair Division with her pair partner, Vergil; and in the Female U50 Team Division with her teammates Wenqi Li (PremierKi) and Georgina Ingram (Aquila).
Sheena is currently the highest-ranked British female poomsae athlete in the WT World Ranking for the U40 Female division. She is ranked 13th in the world and is the 5th highest-ranked European player in her category.
Sheena is a seasoned competitor on the international stage, having showcased her exceptional skills in numerous G-ranked competitions! Her experience and dedication to the sport is extraordinary.
Her most recent achievements include the following:
Bulgaria Open G1 - Silver in pair
Austria Open G1 - Silver in individual, bronze in pair
Oceania Open G2 - Bronze in individual, silver in pair
Australia Open G2 - Bronze in individual, silver in pair
Belgian Open G2 - Bronze in individual

Introducing another one of our selected athletes representing GB at the World Poomsae Championships 2024 - Vergil Ganir!
Vergil will be competing in the U50 Pair Division next week in Hong Kong with his pair partner, Sheena. ๐ญ๐ฐ
Vergil is currently the highest rank British male poomsae athlete in the WT World Ranking in the U40 division - ranking 21st in the World and being the 8th highest rank European player!
Vergil had a successful year both in his individual and pair divisions while competing abroad, medalling in every G1 and G2 ranked tournaments he entered this year!
His medal haul includes the following:
Bulgaria Open G1 - Bronze in individual, silver in pair
Austria Open G1 - Bronze in individual, bronze in pair
Oceania Open G2 - Silver in individual, silver in pair
Australia Open G2 - Silver in individual, silver in pair
Belgian Open G2 - Bronze in individual

As we approach the 2024 World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships in Hong Kong, we are excited to share the recent achievements of our selected athletes on the lead up to this major event.๐คฉ
Our student Zaw Torley will be representing GB in the U17 Male Individual category for recognized Poomsae at the World Championships!
Zaw is unarguably the most decorated under 18 poomsae athlete in the country, being the first ever British U17 European Champion in the most recent European Championships 2023 in Innsbruck, Austria, as well as being European Medallist in his pair.
Zaw has been regularly competing in G-ranked events across Europe in recent months. His most recent accomplishments include achieving Gold at the Croatia Open and Bronze at the Belgium Open.
We wish Zaw the best of luck in Hong Kong!
