As we start gearing up for the new season, excited to have everyone back and to welcome our new members, let’s look back at our 2025 May Bumps campaign. We went +5 as a club, achieving 9 bumps, and winning a set of historic blades!

We are incredibly proud of all our rowers and coxes who gave their crews and the club their all during the week and the many months leading up to it! We want to thank our wonderful coaches, everyone that cheered for us on the banks, and our members who stepped up at the last minute to make sure all our crews could race, these campaigns would not have been possible without you!

Read some words from members of each of our crews, describing the experiences of the week, and get ready to start off the new season in just a few weeks!

Reminiscing about May Bumps 2024! We are really proud of all of our crews who each had incredible campaigns this year. Going +17 in total as a club (and not being bumped at all - even after Homerton May Ball on the penultimate night of Bumps!) we have been awarded the Pegasus Cup! Special mention goes to W3 who finished on a huge +9 overall and over bumped not once but twice in one day!

Last weekend saw 3 Homerton crews enter the Radegund Mile race with great success across the board.

W1 won the women’s college second division whilst also placing 2nd across all college 8s! The latest in a series of fantastic results for the crew this year - well done once again.

M1 also rowed a strong race to place 3rd in the men’s college second division, missing out on second by less than half a second.

Finally, W3 also placed 3rd in their respective division. Another successful result and indicative of the strength in depth that the women’s side has been developed.

Training continues for all crews with bumps just weeks away!!!

Huge congratulations to W2 who won their division yesterday at Spring Head to Head by over 25 seconds.

This placed them as the 8th fastest women’s crew of the day - an amazing achievement, well done!
