What a fantastic day for our pickleball community! 💜🏓

A huge thank you to every single person who joined us today for Katie Morris’ coaching clinics. Across two packed 2-hour sessions, it was brilliant to see so many players investing in their game, with many of you travelling a long way to be part of it.

Your commitment to learning, improving and supporting one another is exactly what makes this community so special.

A massive thank you to Katie for sharing her knowledge, experience and passion with everyone. Having the opportunity to learn from one of the very best is something we never take for granted, and we’re incredibly grateful she found the time in her busy professional schedule to spend the day with us.

At Aces Pickleball Club, we’re about so much more than just hitting a ball. We’re building confidence, creating friendships, strengthening connections and growing a community where everyone feels welcome, whatever stage they’re at on their pickleball journey.

The smiles, encouragement and atmosphere throughout the day reminded me why we do what we do.

Thank you all for making today another special memory.

Now… who’s ready for the next one? 😉 Stay tuned. As soon as Katie can find another gap in her busy professional playing schedule, we’ll be doing it all again!

🎯 DRILLS BUILD SKILL. MATCHPLAY BUILDS EXPERIENCE.

One of the biggest myths in pickleball is that simply playing more games will make you a better player.

The truth is…

Games test your skills. Drills build them.

Every time you repeat a movement, your brain strengthens that pattern. If you’re repeating good technique, you’re improving. If you’re repeating poor habits, you’re reinforcing them.

That’s why we spend so much time drilling at Aces Pickleball Club.

💜 Drills develop technique.
💜 Drills create consistency.
💜 Drills build confidence.
💜 Matchplay teaches decision-making.
💜 Matchplay develops composure under pressure.

The best players don’t choose one or the other.

They do both.

First, build the skill through purposeful practice. Then take it into matchplay and learn how to apply it when the pressure is on.

Remember…

Improve in practice. Perform in competition.

Trust the process, stay patient, and keep investing in the player you want to become.

See you on court.

A New Chapter Begins 💜💚

One year ago, Littleport Aces was created with a simple vision: build a welcoming pickleball community where everyone could enjoy the game, improve together, and make lasting friendships.

What an incredible first year it’s been. From a handful of players to a thriving club, we’ve achieved far more than I ever imagined. Thank you to every member who has been part of that journey.

As we look to the future, it’s time for our branding to evolve too.

From today, we will simply be known as…

ACES PICKLEBALL CLUB

A fresh identity. The same values.

The new name reflects who we’ve become and gives us a stronger, cleaner brand as we continue to grow locally, regionally, and beyond.

Don’t worry—nothing changes on court. We’re still the same friendly, inclusive club with the same passion for helping every player enjoy pickleball. Our current shirts will remain in use until January 2027, when the new branding will begin to roll out.

This is just the beginning, and I’m excited for what comes next.

Thank you for being part of the journey.

Here’s to Year Two… and many more to come! 💜💚🏓

Thank you so much for inviting us to be part of such a special day.

It was a real pleasure to introduce pickleball to so many children, families and members of the local community. Seeing everyone getting involved, having fun and trying something new made it a truly memorable event.

A huge congratulations to the teachers, governors, PTA and all the volunteers who worked so hard to organise such a fantastic farewell fayre. We are grateful to have played a small part in celebrating what is clearly a very special school community.

Thank you again for the opportunity, and we wish everyone at Lakenheath Primary School all the very best for the future. 🎾💚
