So 50 lap endurance race at Knockhill Racing Circuit
Myself and Owen Paterson did what we could I went out in warm up had a low side into clarkes im fine bike was a bit worse off but got most off it fixed and couldn't get rear brake wasn't working it was getting close to race start.

So in the end bike wasn't fixed in time as got brakes all sorted and then throttle stuck on so decided to use our 2nd bike thanks to Torquil Paterson for letting me use it.

I started the race and got off to a ok start on a bike I didn't know and running race shift which I wasn't used to it but got on with it and did what I could.

Myself and Paterson come home 9th overall and 3rd in cb500 class so a good result for us .

Huge thanks to all the marshals for a great job today and the medical team at knockhill

Where to start

Race report from knockhill 31st may/1st June

First wet weekend. I wasn't feeling the bike in warm-up, so I did a couple of laps and then come in.

Qualifying was dry and out i went Qualified 20th with a 1.04.539

Race 1 was dry, got a good start, and moved up places finishing 17th and a new PB 1.02.617

Race 2 was cancelled until Sunday due to weather. I didn't make it out in Race 2

Race 3 went out on the wrong tyres, so I pulled in after a couple of laps as it was dry, and I was on wets

Race 4 stayed dry and out i went was at the back of the group after 6 laps I got black/orange flagged so as quick as I could I dived into the next marshals point duffus flags to be told engine was smoking from the head.

So was picked up by the van, and that ended the weekend for me

Huge thanks to pit crew with all the tyre changes over the weekend

Flat Out Photography for all the photos

Tom Dickie trophy weekend and running in new engine supplied by Garfield Chalk .

Saturday morning went out in warm up getting a feel for the bike and found no rear brake but took it easy pulling 1.17.

Qualifying again still no rear brake but did what I could I Qualified 17th with a 1.14.617 so was happy with that times moving in the right direction.

Race one on Saturday went out still no rear brake but started getting comfortable with it best time was 1.15.794

Race 2 on Saturday went out got 2 laps in and lost bolt out my shifter rod so had to retire

Sorted gear shifter out so went out in Sunday morning practice made sure bike was good and sorted rear brake issue.

Race 1 on Sunday was going good pulling 1.14 1.13 then on the last lap pulled a 1.12.888 new PB

Race 2 Sunday sitting at 1.14's

Was picked for the vick lang feature Race yellow team with Patrick farrance,Connor parkin, Richie O Neill, james Crawford, Andrew Barton the team did great and I was left to bring it over the line for the yellow team to come in first place.

What an amazing weekend had by all
