Kove UK on the Rise: Wilson Battles at the Sharp End in Teesside Round 2 of the British Supermoto Championship.
Teesside Autodrome played host to Round 2 of the Nora Sport British Supermoto Championship (BSSC) this past weekend, and the Kove UK race team came away with a highly positive result that underlines the growing competitiveness of the Kove 450 Supermoto and young talent Blake Wilson in the series.
Fridayβs dedicated practice day proved invaluable. The extra track time allowed the team to dial in the bike early, evaluate multiple tyre options, and make meaningful chassis and suspension adjustments that paid dividends throughout the weekend. The Kove machine felt planted and predictable from the first session, giving rider and crew the confidence to push hard in both dry and changing conditions.
One of the biggest takeaways came in the wet. For the first time the team was able to properly test the Kove Supermoto in genuine standing water and heavy rain. The bikeβs balance, traction control response, and braking stability impressed immediately, delivering a level of rider confidence that bodes extremely well for future rounds where British weather can throw anything at the grid.
Saturday β British Championship β’ Race 1: 6th β’ Race 2: 7th β’ Race 3: 6th
These were the riderβs best British Championship results to date and marked a clear step forward in outright pace and consistency for the Kove UK machine.
Sunday β National Championship β’ Race 1: 7th β’ Race 2: 5th β’ Race 3: 8th
Sundayβs Race 2 was the highlight of the weekend. The Kove was right in the mix at the sharp end, battling hard for a podium position.
Young Blake was challenging for 3rd place right up to the final corner of the last lap before a last-gasp move just slipped away, and Blake sprung into action, picked the bike up and carried on to gain a valuable fifth spot.
While the result was frustrating in the moment, the speed, race-craft and maturity on display showed that Blake and the Kove 450 Supermoto is now a genuine podium threat.
The entire Kove Moto UK team would like to thank every supporter who has followed the journey so far β whether through messages, shares, advice, or donations to the Pitstop Crew fund.
A special mention also goes to the Blakes family, the full race crew, and every sponsor and partner whose continued belief makes this season possible.
The Kove UK Supermoto programme heads into the next round with renewed momentum, valuable data, and growing confidence in the bikeβs performance potential.
On to Round 3, keep developing, working and focusing on performance.

WorldSPB Race Report β Kove 450RR Debut!
Making its highly anticipated WorldSPB debut this weekend, and what a first outing it was!
Apart from admin craziness, and the rules and regs gremlins, the Team 109 Kove 450RR made its arrival known!
Starting from P21, (BeΓ±at) charged through the field with determination and crossed the line in a fantastic P13! This result would have delivered our first 2 championship points β pending FIM Phase 2 homologation :( ?
(Phillip) started further back in P29 and fought hard to bring the bike home in P21.
A solid first race for the entire team and the brand-new Kove 450RR project. Thereβs clearly plenty more potential to unlock!
Building on it, today will provide more valuable track time, and we look forward to seeing the Team 109 Kove 450RR once again grace Portimau track.

Kove introduce Young British talent
14-year-old rising star Blake Wilson is set to race the Kove 450 in the 2026 British SuperMoto Championship with full factory support from Kove Moto UK.
After dominating the Ohvale UK series (1st overall in 2024) and securing multiple podiums in Supermoto last season, Blake is stepping up his game β racing the Kove MX450 alongside his R&G Moto4 British Cup campaign on the Honda NSF250.
This partnership marks an exciting new chapter, not just for Blake as one of the UKβs brightest young prospects, but for Kove Moto UK as a whole. It proves the durability, performance, and versatility of the Kove 450 platform β a bike developed with the Dakar rally in mind, one of the worlds toughest races, and its hardcore adventure roots is now competing hard on the tight, technical Supermoto circuits of Great Britain.
Exciting times ahead for this rising talent and the growing Kove range, keeping its focus on performance.
