What a weekend at the CAMRA real ale tent at Kent’s Spitfire Cricket Ground🍻🏏
*See photos of the team setting up, the bar in full swing, our fantastic view from the tent, the team hard at work and how many casks we sold!!
🫶The atmosphere was really friendly and what makes this community so special is the kindess we share, we appreciate those who came to share their thanks before leaving.
🍻Over the course of 4 days we provided over 25 beers, usually 3 or 4 being served at any one time. Many thanks to the organisations who donated beer and cider to help this charitable cause (see the website for more details about what was on).
❗️Thanks to a combination of excellent organisation (thanks Gill), a willing band of volunteers, support from some of our favourite breweries who made it happen and our tent hugely popular over the cricket festival weekend.
💸All the surplus money from the tent is donated to two charities. This year the charities are Cancer Research UK and Alzheimer’s Research UK.
👀Keep your eyes peeled for our post to come with amounts and presentations of the cheques.
⏰️And if you missed it, maybe we'll see you next year!
Cheers
