Hi parents 💫

The meltdowns about school
The constant worry
'I dont want to go'
The lack of confidence
The emotional rollercoaster that seems impossible to explain

And you're left wondering, how can i help? What can i do

Sometimes children don't need another adult telling them what they should be doing. They need somewhere they can feel safe, be heard, be understood and work things out for themselves.

Thats where we come in at Feeling Herd!

✨️1:1 Equine Assisted Coaching

Our sessions combine coaching conversations and time alongside our horses to help young people understand themselves and develop the skills and confidence they need to navigate everyday life.

We can support children and young people experiencing;
- anxiety and overwhelm
- low confidence or self esteem
- Emotion regulation difficulties
- school avoidance
- neurodiversity and challenges with demands
- friendship and relationship difficulties
- big emotions and difficulty communicating them
- Changes or challenges at home
- feeling stuck, lost or lacking direction

*Chantal is also an accredited child exploitation practitioner if you have concerns about your childs relationships

✨️ Friday After School Club - starting 4th September

If your child comes home from school completly exhausted, overwhelmed or dysregulated.. our friday club was created with them in mind.

A small supportive space where children can slow down, reset and reconnect after a busy week. Spending time with the ponies, being outdoors, doing practical activities and simply having space to be themselves.

*not in school? Don't worry you can still join us!

These sessions take place weekly during term time, no pressure to come every week.

Get in touch with Chantal at Feeling Herd to talk about whether 1:1 coaching or our Friday Club could be the right fit for your child. You don't have to figure it out alone 🤍

Our team 💚

Feeling Herd was created from a belief that sometimes, the best place to begin is by slowing down, feeling safe and being given the space to just 'be'

We dreamt about creating a space where both people and horses feel heard, accepted and understood through Equine Assisted Coaching and Ethical Horsemanship

Where there isn’t pressure to have all the answers

Where behaviour is seen as communication, not simply something that needs to be 'fixed'

And where we can explore confidence, emotional regulation, relationships, boundaries, self-belief and life’s challenges in a way that feels meaningful to the individual

🐴 We believe in ethical horsemanship
Our horses aren’t tools. They are sentient beings with their own needs, personalities, boundaries and choices. Their welfare comes first, always. We believe in working with our horses, listening to them and building relationships based on trust and mutual understanding.

🌿 We believe in person centred support
There is no one-size-fits-all approach. We meet people where they are, adapt to their needs and follow their pace.

💭 We believe that connection comes before change
Feeling safe, understood and connected is often the starting point for growth, for both horses and humans

✨ We believe in potential
Not in trying to make someone fit into a box, but in helping them understand themselves, recognise their strengths and discover what is possible for them.

Our vision for Feeling Herd is to continue creating a space where people can come exactly as they are, and leave feeling a little more connected to themselves, a little more confident in their own ability, and perhaps with a different perspective on what they thought was possible.

We’re incredibly proud of what Feeling Herd is becoming and so grateful to every person, family and professional who trusts us to be part of their journey.

This is Feeling Herd ✨️

A little bit of horses
A lot of connection
And a belief that everyone deserves to feel heard

Pony enrichment day at Summer Holiday Herd! 🐴🌿

One of our favourite activities this week has been creating a herb and plant enrichment trough for the ponies.

The children have been learning which herbs and plants are safe for horses to eat, why they might choose different plants, and how giving them variety allows them to make their own choices. It’s a lovely way to learn about horse care while seeing their personalities shine.

At Feeling Herd, we’re all about learning through hands-on experiences, building confidence, developing new skills, and creating meaningful connections with both the ponies and each other.

There are still a few spaces left on our Summer Holiday Herd sessions if you’d like to join us. We’d love to welcome you! 🤍

Sometimes, the greatest lessons don't come from being told what to do. They come from a quiet moment with a horse ✨

Today is Equine Assisted Services day 🐴

Everyday, we see how horses can help people build confidence, reconnect with themselves, process emotions and develop skills that can feel too difficult to learn in a traditional therapy setting.

Equine Assisted Services and specifically Coaching, is learning how to be the best version of yourself 🤍

We can explore;
- emotional regulation
- confidence and self esteem
- healthy boundaries
- communication skills
- trust and relationships
- resilience and problem solving
- leadership and self awareness

Horses don't judge us, they don't care about labels or expectations. They respond to what we bring into the moment. Their honesty creates opportunities for reflection, growth and change in a way that words sometimes can't.

Today we celebrate the incredible horses that work alongside us and every person who has trusted us to walk with them on their journey ✨🤍

A few kind words from some of the wonderful people we've had the pleasure of working with 🤍

We honestly love what we do. Getting to know each child as an individual, building relationships and connection and creating a space where they feel safe, accepted and genuinely heard, is at the heart of it all.

For us, it's never about changing who a child is or expecting them to fit into a box. It's about meeting them where they are, working at their pace and helping them discover what they're capable of ✨️

We are so lucky to do a job we love, alongside some pretty special ponies and be trusted by families to support their children.

Whether you're confident, anxious, neurodivergent, struggling with school, finding emotions hard or simply looking for somewhere you can just be, you're always welcome here 🤍
