Can we just say a massive thank you to Stacey Netterfield's husband from SSN Property & Housing Ltd (Llanelli) who sponsored the league cup today and got it engraved! Really nice touch!

Our player of the day for the final league game was....*drumroll*...Claire! She was up and down the pitch like a yoyo!

The Accies are officially the winners of the FIRST EVER Wales Women’s Vets League! What an unbelievable way to finish the season after such a closely fought title race right down to the very last game. 💙

Massive credit to all the teams involved throughout the season — especially Cam United Women’s Vets , Evans & Williams FC Ladies Veterans and Penybont Ladies Veterans FC — for providing outstanding competition every single week. The quality, passion and competitiveness across the league has been brilliant and made this achievement even more special. 👏⚽

A huge thank you also has to go to the managers and organisers who worked so hard behind the scenes to help pull this league together and make it such a success — Jo Davies, Stacey Netterfield and Katie Jayne Davies . The amount of time, effort and commitment that goes into organising women’s grassroots football often goes unseen, but this league would not have happened without you all. ❤️

To lift the trophy in the inaugural season is something we’re incredibly proud of and a moment this team will remember for a long time! 🏆

Right now, we sit top on goal difference… but with Penybont Ladies Veterans FC still in with a shot at the title and fierce competition from Cam United Women’s Vets throughout the season, this race is FAR from over. 😮‍💨

Our player of the match this month is.... *drum roll*... Sarah Tanetta! She scored 2 cracking goals. Well deserved! 👏

Strong defensive display from the Accies with no goals conceded across the fixtures! 💪 The team played some high-quality football throughout.
