Calling Philanthropic Psychologists!

Sport Excel UK, supported by ParalympicsGB is appealing to Practising Psychologists to help break down barriers for athletes with intellectual impairment, Down syndrome and autism across the UK and across 10+ sports.

We are recruiting to the following roles:

Expert Psychologist Advisers (x3) to join our expert National Eligibility Committee (voluntary).

Practitioner Psychologists (Multiple) (Fee) – to carry out assessments under the Access to Psychology Scheme (We are particularly interested in professionals close to Bristol, Birmingham, Cardiff, London and Manchester)

Your expertise can open the door to competition, inclusion and opportunity for athletes with intellectual impairment across the UK. To find out more and view the role descriptions on our website or contact Sport Excel UK for an informal chat.

As we look ahead to 2026, we’re excited about what’s to come and grateful to everyone who has supported the athletes, families, coaches, NGB’s, sponsors, and system partners along the way.

Indoor Bowlers from Wales with an Intellectual Learning Disability, are invited to enter this Pairs Competition on Sunday 11th Jan 2026. Trophies for winner and runner-up in L1, L2, L3 and L4 Classifications. Refreshments available .
Venue: Cardiff Indoor Bowls Club. Sophia Gardens
