This Sunday I’ll be heading up to Carlisle, a historic city in Cumbria known for its impressive castle, rich Roman heritage and its position near the western end of Hadrian’s Wall.

I’ll be visiting a selection of pubs and brewery taps throughout the day, exploring some of the city’s best-known places and enjoying a few good beers along the way.
