There are so many little milestones that happen during your swimming journey together, and sometimes the smallest moments are the ones that feel the biggest💙

✨ Their first splash
✨ Their first time putting their face in
✨ Their first underwater experience
✨ Their first reach for a toy
✨ Their first independent movement through the water
✨ Their first little swim towards you

Our Parent & Child lessons are about so much more than teaching your baby to swim.

They're about building water confidence, developing movement and coordination, learning important water safety skills, and creating positive experiences in the water from an early age.

And every child is different. Some will be completely fearless from their first lesson, while others need a little more time, encouragement and reassurance, there's no rush💙

From those very first splashes at 6 weeks old, we're here to support you and your little swimmer as they grow in confidence and develop their skills🌊

Because one day you'll look back and realise just how far those tiny swimmers have come 🥹

WHAT DOES A 3-YEAR-OLD ACTUALLY LEARN IN SWIMMING LESSONS?💦

A LOT more than you might think!🏊‍♀️💙

At around 3 years old, children can be developing so many important skills in the water; from confidence, listening and floating, through to kicking, safe entries, independence and the early foundations of swimming strokes.

But here's the important thing...

Not every 3-year-old is ready for the same type of lesson, and that's completely okay.

Some children are super confident, fearless little swimmers who are ready to start developing their independence in the water. That's why we offer independent group lessons from age 3+, where children can learn with their teacher and develop their skills without an adult in the water.

But we also know that some little swimmers benefit from having a parent or carer alongside them for a little longer. Our parent & child lessons are available from 6 weeks through to preschool age, giving children the opportunity to build their confidence and skills with that extra support before making the transition to independent lessons.

There's no rush and there's no one-size-fits-all approach💙

Our aim is to help every child become happy, confident and safe in the water, starting from wherever they are in their swimming journey✨

Our new 10-week swimming term starts next week - w/c 14th September🌊

We currently have a few spaces available in our Parent & Child swimming classes, from just 6 weeks old through to preschool age.

Our lessons are all about helping little ones become happy, confident and comfortable in the water, while enjoying special time in the pool with you🥰

✨ Build water confidence from an early age
✨ Develop important swimming & water safety skills
✨ Encourage independence and coordination
✨ Enjoy quality time together in the water
✨ Learn through fun, songs, games and play

Whether you're looking for your baby's first swimming experience or wanting to build on your preschooler's existing confidence, we'd love to welcome you to our lessons👋🏼

With small class sizes, experienced teachers in the water and a step-by-step approach, every swimmer is supported to feel comfortable in the water and make progress in their swimming⭐

Those first bubbles, confident splashes, big smiles and moments when they surprise themselves, we love seeing their confidence grow week after week🤩🙌🏼

Our Parent & Child lessons are a lovely way to introduce your little one to the water in a fun, relaxed and supportive environment, while building those important early water skills together.

Our small group lessons are designed to give every swimmer the support they need to feel confident in the water 🩵

From our Parent & Child lessons through to our independent swimmers, having fewer swimmers in each class means more time for every child, more opportunity to practice and less time waiting around✨

This allows children to build confidence quicker, receive stronger teacher-to-child support, and feel calm and comfortable in their learning environment.

It’s all about creating the right space for swimmers to feel supported, encouraged and able to make steady progress from the very beginning🥰

Whether it's a tiny swimmer taking their first steps in the water with a parent, or an independent swimmer developing their confidence, there's so much for our teachers to look out for during every lesson 🤩

We're watching how children respond to the water, build confidence, try new things and develop those important skills at their own pace👀

It’s been so lovely seeing familiar faces, catching up with our families and watching everyone settle back into their swimming routines✨
