Lifespan and health span are two completely different things. People’s lifespan can be till their 80’s, but typically their health span dies in their 60’s.
Where do you see your future self?

There I was minding my own business, watching what I eat, going to the gym, and getting adequate sleep and I could have just brought one of these! I feel a bit stupid now 🤦🤣
Can you relate??? I think a lot of this is the reason I have the discipline to stick to my training.
Generation X
Born roughly between 1965 and 1980 is known as the "middle child" generation. Shaped by the rise of dual-income households, rapid technological shifts, and early independence, their five core characteristics include self-reliance, work-life balance, pragmatism, technological adaptability, and financial responsibility.
Here is a quick breakdown of these traits:
Self-Reliance:
Known as the "Latchkey Generation," many Gen Xers grew up with unsupervised time after school. This bred a deep sense of independence, personal accountability, and the ability to solve problems on their own without needing hand-holding.
Work-Life Balance:
Gen X was one of the first groups to actively push back against the "live to work" mentality of previous generations. They are highly protective of their time off and generally prioritize flexible schedules over climbing the corporate ladder at all costs.
Pragmatism:
Having lived through multiple economic recessions and corporate restructuring, they tend to be cynical, realistic, and highly skeptical of traditional institutions and authority. They value competence, authenticity, and straightforward communication above corporate buzzwords.
Technological Adaptability:
As the bridge between the analog and digital eras, Gen X naturally adapts to new tech. While they use digital tools, they also fondly remember life before smartphones and often value face-to-face or direct communication.
Financial Pressure:
Often serving as the "sandwich generation," Gen Xers frequently find themselves financially and emotionally supporting both aging parents and adult children simultaneously. They are generally focused on building long-term financial security and wealth.
