Well done you Warriors, a great grading evening that went, nearly, to plan. You all deserve your new grades.

Super proud of this little lot, some had to fight 2 weight groups up, made the step up to adult competition or moved up a grade level. They all tried their best and made us proud. In judo it takes a millisecond to change the way a fight is going or win it outright.
Yes, we as coaches, want our judoka to get on the mat, 1 throw for ippon and win the group(easier on our nerves) but in reality its not often that happens. We almost burst with pride when you lot get on that mat and do everything you can. Win lose or draw you are our Champions.
Thankyou for your hard work, effort and commitment. Rest up, back at it tomorrow!

Monday's brawlers, judoka of the week going to Skye for her continued effort and enthusiasm. Well.done all.

Monday nights crew. Welll done Sam on your 2nd Sho and everyone else for their effort.

Down in numbers tonight but the usual work rate and concentration, forward backwards combinations and Mune Gatame. We graded Eddie and Henry as unfortunately they were ill on grading day. Eva continues to take to judo like a duck to water and earns herself Judoka of the week.

Last grading session of the grading week, working hard all month lead to some great demonstrations of the needed techniques. Well done everyone. Now to get ready for some competitions.

1st grading night last night, they've been working hard all this month to improve the techniques needed for their next grade and it showed in their individual performances. We hope you are proud of yourselves as i know your coaches and parents are. We welcomed another new judoka, Albie, who seemed to enjoy being in the thick of it.

This Monday nights hard working crew, well done all, especially Max who was tonights Judoka Of The Week.

Clearing space on my phone, so heres some pics of our juniors going back over 4 yrs. Even some of the video lessons I did during lockdown. Some of the judoka have since left but we thank them for letting is be part of their Judo journey and wish them the best.

Great session last night working towards the Kids next grade. 2 new starters that left with a new found love of our brilliant sport.

1st session of 2024 tomorrow evening, im sure with the effort our little warriors put in its going to be another successful year full of improvement and fun.
