Did you know you can now get a free cholesterol and blood pressure check at participating high-street pharmacies?
If you are a woman over 40, this is essential. As we go through perimenopause, our oestrogen levels drop. Oestrogen usually helps keep our cholesterol in check, so when it declines, LDL (bad) cholesterol often spikes. You cannot feel high cholesterol, so even if you eat well and exercise, you need to know your numbers.

I am incredibly proud to say I have completed the Burrell Education 3rd Age Woman Menopause Transition Certification. What a huge course covering so much information! I am so looking forward to being able to help more people navigate this part of their lives. Combining my Pelvic health work with this, I'm sure there will be many people out there interested in learning more!

7 years ago this week I was nervously starting my Pilates Instructor training journey, and now I'm doing my Level 4 Advanced Pilates Therapy qualifications. Who would have known that I'd have given up work and have a little business with nearly 50 clients! Life is good.

I know we're a couple of weeks in but Happy 2026! An exciting year for me as I take early retirement at the end of January from my career of 37 years to concentrate on my Pilates and Women's Health Business. It's started well hearing I've completed and passed my International Hypopressives Council level one qualification. Such an brilliant course with fantastic trainers! Message me if you're interested in .trying hypopressives, an exercise to help rehabilitate your Pelvic floor whilst improving your posture.
