🏏 Another fantastic Friday evening last week with our Terling CC Fireflies! 🏏

The girls enjoyed a fun-filled session in the sunshine, working on their fielding, bowling and batting skills, with plenty of smiles and laughter along the way 🌞

Fireflies is our girls-only softball cricket programme, designed to help girls build confidence, make friends and have fun while learning the game🌟

Sadly tonight has been called off due to rain! Our second rained off game this week ☹️ we’ll be looking to reschedule and we hope to see you all at the club soon for some cricket in the sun 🌞

We’re heading to Braintree CC to play against Witham CC, Dunmow CC and the hosts in what promises to be a great evening of cricket!
 
The hard work is done, the squad is selected, and we’re excited to get our campaign underway. 💪
 
Go well to all teams taking part, and a big thank you in advance to Braintree CC for hosting. We’re looking forward to seeing you all!

🏏✨ BALLERZ BLAST MOMENT OF THE MATCH ✨🏏
 
Our first game of the 2026 season in the Ballerz Blast league is DONE 💥

The result may not have gone our way against Springfield CC, but the vibes definitely did 😎
There were plenty of positives:
🔥 Some brilliant batting
🙌 A great catch
🎯 TWO run outs
😂 And plenty of laughs along the way
 
But the team’s unanimous 🌟Moment of the Match🌟 goes to GRACIE 💖
After a few years away from cricket, Gracie made her return - and what a comeback it was! With only 9 players, she heroically volunteered to bat again… and then absolutely CRUNCHED a brilliant 4️⃣ 👏💥
Cricket was the winner tonight 🏏💖

Running for 8 weeks, every Friday night 5:30-6:30pm PLUS the Mini Match Play at the Essex County Cricket Ground on 22nd July!

An exciting opportunity for girls aged 8-11 to make new friends, build their confidence, learn some new cricket skills and have a lot of fun!
