Here it is, the big announcement and just in time for Christmas….
Congratulations and best wishes to Jonathan Scott, who is now fulfilling his ambition of owning his own bike business. He is now officially the new owner of Spokes!
He’s a great guy and has been working in the industry for 20 plus years. We are confident that he is going to follow in our footsteps and make the workshop an even bigger success. We’re pretty sure he’ll be introducing himself soon and you can be assured your bikes will be in safe hands.
He will be reopening the workshop in the New Year, ready to take your bookings.
Once again, thanks so much to all of you for your support, custom and friendship over the last 16 years.
We’ve enjoyed, pretty much, every minute of it and like to think this is isn’t a final farewell and that we can stay in touch. Time to pass the baton!
To all of our customers and friends, we have an important announcement about The Spokes Workshop.

After much deliberation and a certain amount of heartache we have finally decided the time is right for us to retire and we are now actively seeking a suitable buyer for the Spokes business.
For us, it has been the dream job and we will really miss it, but now it’s time for someone else to live that dream.
We are aware that our successor could potentially be one of our customers or someone they know, so please do share this information.

Spokes has been successfully trading for over 16 years and is an ongoing profitable concern, with a large and loyal customer database.
In brief, the business will be sold to include all assets ( work stands, tools, work units, parts washer etc) and stock. Rental of the premises will continue under the new owner.
For a smooth transition, we are also happy to negotiate a handover period. It’s all set up for Spokes’s successor to hit the ground running.
