We are nature, not separate from it.
After my gathering this morning in the woods, I sat beneath the trees and watched them sway in the breeze. Lying on the earth, my hair covered in leaves and soil, I felt connected, held.

I wandered barefoot for a while, feeling the softness of the forest floor beneath me and listening to the songs of birds echoing through the woodland.

As an Earth sign, I feel most at home under the trees. In nature I return, I remember the rhythm that exists beneath the noise.

Sharing movement and sound in this space is such a gift.

I sat contemplating about creating a little gathering here for summer solstice. An early start to salute the sun as he rises. If you’d be interested in joining, please pop me a message.

Love, always,

Amy 🦋

Tend: The Rose Ritual

Saturday 13th June
6-9pm

The power of rose has been honoured for centuries — not just as a flower of romance, but as a symbol of devotion, softness, grief, beauty, sensuality, and the heart itself. Across herbalism, spirituality, perfumery, and ritual, rose is often seen as medicine for both the body and the emotional landscape.

In herbal traditions, Rose is considered deeply soothing to the nervous system. Rose tea, rose glycerites, and rose-infused preparations are often used to support emotional balance, especially during periods of stress, heartbreak, anxiety, or overwhelm. There’s something about rose that invites softening.

Energetically, rose is connected to the heart. Not just love in the romantic sense, but the fuller spectrum of love: self-love, grief, tenderness, compassion, longing, joy, and connection. Rose reminds us that an open heart is not a weak one. It teaches that softness can coexist with strength — after all, roses bloom with both petals and thorns.

The scent of rose has a profound effect too. Rose essential oil is one of the most prized oils in aromatherapy because of how deeply regulating and grounding it can feel emotionally. Many people experience it as comforting, sensual, nurturing, or even protective. It has this ability to bring people back into the body.

If you’re interested in joining me, connecting with or learning more about rose, please message me or use the link I n my bio.

I’d love to share this gathering with you.

Love, always,

Amy

L o s t

I’ve been thinking about this a lot recently — how beautiful it is to get lost.

These last two days were meant to be spent hiking the coastal path. I’d planned to swim in the sea, walk for hours, and spend the evenings sitting by the fire with Murphy & Tim. But the weather is too warm, and the place we’d planned to stay felt overwhelmingly busy, so we decided to come home instead.

And honestly, it felt like exactly what we needed.

What followed were two slow, spacious days at home. Early morning walks. Iced hibiscus tea in the garden. Hours with my hands in the soil, planting roses, delphiniums, creeping thyme, and geraniums.

Attempting to make sage bundles for my next retreat as the raised bed is full of various herbs for teas, flavours and smudging.

Reading for hours in the sunshine.

Moving on my mat in the garden— the kind of movement where it’s just me and my body, every cell awake, the connection to it all palpable.

No schedule. No rushing. No need to be anywhere.

It’s strange how quickly we forget that life is allowed to be lived this way. We’re taught to optimise everything — to plan more, do more, make the most of every second. As though rest must be earned. As though slowness is something to feel guilty for.

Over the last month, I’ve been carrying some of the worst anxiety I’ve experienced in years — a racing heart, restless thoughts, the constant feeling of being slightly braced against life. And somewhere amongst the soil, the music, the movement, and the quiet, I felt myself settle and return.

Perhaps it’s nature that does this — reminding me that everything is impermanent. That beauty and pain can exist side by side. That nothing stays forever.

Maybe it’s remembering that getting lost — in something, somewhere, or with someone — is magical, awakening a rich sense of aliveness that so often gets buried beneath the rush of everyday life.

Go get lost.

Love, always,

Amy

B l o o m & C o n d e n s e

May arrived in a flurry of colour, sound, and experience.

The birds have returned to the garden, their sweet song drifting through the house when we are quiet enough to notice. Sparrows dancing between branches. Early morning light stretching across the floorboards. Everything feeling a little more alive again.

More than ever this year, I’ve noticed this return to life — the world unfurling through small, ordinary miracles. A tapestry of wonder woven into the everyday.

And somewhere amongst the fullness of it all, ive felt a condensing inside. Simultaneously blooming and condensing.

Slow, Somatic Flow to Yin Yoga
Wednesdays
8:15pm
Saints Green Place

Somatic Flow to Embodied Yin is a nourishing journey through movement, breath, and stillness — designed to help you soften out of the thinking mind and reconnect with the wisdom of your body.
We begin with gentle somatic movement and mindful flow to awaken awareness, release tension, and regulate the nervous system. Moving slowly and intuitively, you’ll be guided to explore how your body wants to move, creating space for ease, grounding, and presence.
As the practice unfolds, we transition into embodied yin — longer-held, supportive shapes that invite deep rest, inner listening, and a sense of surrender. With breath awareness, subtle sensation, and moments of stillness, this class encourages you to slow down, soften, and reconnect with yourself on a deeper level.
Expect a calming atmosphere with grounding breathwork, mindful movement, and restorative rest — leaving you feeling more centred, spacious, and deeply supported.
Suitable for all levels, including beginners. All equipment provided.
