The weekend is here which means race day is tomorrow! We hope you're all feeling fit and ready to go.

The course is being set and preparations are well underway!

We still have entries available for both the Marathon, if you're up for a last minute challenge. And more realistically, for the 5k support race.

The J's Hospice is holding its successful Chelmsford 5K licensed run along the Chelmsford Marathon route on the same day. Starting and finishing in Chelmsford, the route is road running and tarmac paths. The communities of Chelmsford and the surrounding villages come out in their thousands to cheer and support the runners, raising money for The J's Hospice.

The Marathon & 5k is organised by The J's Hospice and managed on their behalf by Nice Work; all race proceeds go to The J's Hospice and runners are urged to raise sponsorship. The race is looking to attract runners of all abilities, from experienced athletes to those new to running.

The Race Village will also have trade stands and family-friendly entertainment available.

On the day entries will also be available subject to space.

Don't forget, the event is in support of The J's Hospice who provide hospice and respite care for young adults in the Essex area.

It is only a few days until race day now. Those that entered in good time should have received their numbers and race packs by now. If you don't receive yours by Sunday, come and see us at registration and we'll have packs ready for those that entered late.
