First and last pictures of three of the team at the Pilates on Tour conference in London this weekend. Learning, working out, meeting new instructors and getting loads of new inspiration to work our wonderful clients that little bit harder 😉

I CAN DO HARD THINGS

When there’s something you want to do, don’t let fear get the better of you. Whether it’s taking a dip in the freezing sea with these two wonder women, or something bigger, just remember - YOU can do hard things 🤍

So excited that is in Montpellier Gardens this year! I’ll be teaching a Pilates For Yogi’s class on Tuesday 28th July at 11:00 in their beautiful space. It’ll be a class dedicated to activating the key muscles that will allow you to progress in your practice, or just counteract the lockdown slump. It’s suitable for all levels, whether you’re a seasoned yogi or just trying something new!

Book on through their website ✨

‘Inhale the future, exhale the past’

I’m embarking on a new world, a strange world that feels so alien yet so familiar to me. I’m reentering the world of work as a working mum and if I’m quite honest it’s pretty daunting.

Yesterday was spent trying to articulate my anxieties to my husband, who simply listened and hugged me when I cried (whilst interjecting with action points, obvs). Trying to find the balance between working and muming is something I thought I’d find easier.

Not physically leaving the house to go and teach means the lines are blurred... Trying to be fully present when I’m working and Charlie is crying next door. Trying to be fully present when I’m with Charlie and there’s an email I should reply to.

It’s hard.

I applaud anyone who has nailed it.

Add into the mix trying to promote my classes (yuck) with being comfortable in my new post-natal body (agh) and you’ve got a bit mess of emotions!

But today, the sun is shining, I’ve played with my son, and I’m on my mat trying (and somewhat winning) to focus on the task at hand ✌🏻
