☀️💨 What a windy but lovely, sunny morning at Cheshunt Junior parkrun!🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

A huge congratulations to our two runners who received their 10 milestone wristbands today! 🎉 You have both done fantastically, and we love seeing you achieve your milestones!

We also handed out two 150 milestone wristbands today! 🏅 Both recipients had a shout out a few weeks ago, but we were waiting for our new wristbands to arrive. It was so lovely to finally hand them over and celebrate these amazing achievements! 🙌

A massive thank you to all our wonderful volunteers and families for joining us this morning, cheering everyone on and helping make our event so special. 💙

Whatever the weather, it's always a great morning when we're together! ☀️ See you all next Sunday, and don't forget to bring a friend!

🎉 A huge congratulations to Erica and Maia! 🎉

Sorry I missed your milestone presentations and that we didn't get a photo, but you have both done amazingly! It's been lovely seeing you grow in confidence and improve your running each week. Keep smashing it! ❤️

👏 A massive congratulations to Andy on taking on your first Run Director role this morning! You did a brilliant job and we hope you enjoyed it! 🙌

A big thank you to everyone who joined us today. It was wonderful to see so many children and families out enjoying their Sunday morning with us! ☀️

We can't wait to see you all again next week, so bring your friends along and let's make it another brilliant morning at Cheshunt Junior parkrun!

Remember, it's not about how fast you run, it's about getting out there, having fun and giving it a go! ❤️

📢 A little reminder!

There will be NO Cheshunt Junior parkrun tomorrow.

Why not take the opportunity to visit another Junior parkrun? 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ You could try Waltham Cross, Hertford, Harlow or Roding Valley and enjoy a different parkrun community!

We’ll be back at Cheshunt Junior parkrun next Sunday as usual. 💚

📍 Cheshunt Park
⏰ 8.55am

We look forward to seeing you all then! 🌟

🌞 What a lovely morning at Cheshunt Junior parkrun!

Massive congratulations to one of our amazing warm up leader for achieving your 100 milestone wristband today! 🎉 We can’t wait to see you in your new T shirt! And thank you for bringing sweets to share with everyone too! 🍬

Just a little reminder that Junior parkrun is all about having fun. Whether it’s a solo run, a family run with parents, walking, skipping or jogging, everyone can enjoy it in their own way.

Chasing a PB is great, but parents, please remember that a PB doesn’t happen every week, and it should always be a child’s own personal achievement. It’s absolutely okay not to get one every time. 💛

Thank you to everyone who came along today. It’s amazing seeing so many children taking part, having fun and building healthy memories that they can take forward in life.

Well done everyone! 👏

Well done to every single child who came along, whether you ran, walked, hopped or skipped your way around. You were all amazing! 💚

Thank you to our wonderful volunteers and families for making Sunday mornings so special. See you next week! ☀️

Who will be joining us tomorrow?

We are hoping we can reunite our visiting mermaid with their owner!

Our youngest volunteer, who still can’t register officially, now has the corner at marshal point 9 officially named after him. Marshal point 9 is the most accessible for a buggy, and since Oscar has been visiting us since he’s a few months old we’ve dedicated this point to him. He has moved on to marshal point 1 or barcode scanning now as this is safer for his wandering legs.

We could do with a few extra - registered - volunteers tomorrow. If you know you are coming and can offer to wear a hivis we’d love to hear from you.

📧 [email protected]

See you tomorrow, 0855 warm up - parents taking part with their responsible children please join in - the children will leave you for dust otherwise 😉

We start at 0900, don’t forget your barcodes.

Thank you to the volunteers who supported our 25 runners today. We do really need volunteers each and every week to ensure we can go ahead safely.

Teddy and Isaac showed off their new milestone T-shirts, with Isaac providing finish line treats. Thank you!

A big shout out to young Freya for helping with our warm up today, her first volunteering credit showing it’s never too young to start your volunteer journey and working towards a volunteer wristband.

Have a great week, see you next week 0845 for a 0900 start!
