Well done to the West Country Pirate, Mr Baker on his SW purple belt today. 6+ yrs on the mats, 54yrs old, competes with the team every time, never turns down a roll, on the mats every week whilst holding down a stressful job - now that’s a MEGA frickin’ purple belt. Well done man 👊🏻

Another mega day of competing for the SW team at All Stars BJJ in Macclesfield. The kids did especially well, some of them competing for the first time in the gi and taking home medals 👊🏻 The whole team had put so much work in recently and yesterday it all came to fruition for each and everyone one of them. After a period of solid improvement and big gains on the mats one of our newer blue belts ‘Plasterman’ big Nick even taking home no less than three gold and a £200 cheque for all his effort, well done man! 💪🏻

We took home 9 gold, 9 silver and five bronze and got third place overall in the comp which for a club only a few years old is a mega achievement.

Subworx is going from strength to strength, everyone achieving their goals in our sport, all happy and healthy and pushing forward our distinctive gi style. JOIN US!!!

Little run out to Tilston Wakes to participate in their annual Tug of War organised by phbooth

Zero technique 😂 but 1000% heart and willing. Had great fun, fantastic to be out of the gi with the gang 😳😆 and congratulations to the other teams. Seeing upside down, back to front AND on his back pulling himself TOWARDS the other team just makes me howl every time I see it 😂

We’re so much more than just a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu club! Great people. Subworx 🤟🏻
