Another morning of networking in Pulford near Wrexham. It was great to meet new businesspeople and familiar faces.

Expanding my horizons a little this morning and I had a great morning of networking at The Anglesey Arms, Menai Bridge.

Many people are in the dark when it comes to what the utility price cap is and when it’s next changing.. here’s some details I dug up which you might find useful.
The next UK energy price cap change is 1st October 2026.

* Current cap: £1,862/year for a typical dual-fuel household paying by Direct Debit, from 1 July–30 September 2026.
* Next cap period: 1 October–31 December 2026.
* Ofgem will announce the new rate by 26 August 2026 — so 9 days from now.
* The following cap will apply from 1 January 2027, with its level announced by 25 November 2026.
