Back into the gym - taking it SUPER easy!

I’m back in starting my new training plan, after a few weeks of random sessions, no routine, lots of travel, PLUS being under the weather πŸŒ§οΈβ€¦ it’s time to ease back in!

It’s good to be back! But I know I’ve got to build it back up slowly. So today I did a quick and simple 35-40 minute upper body workout & easy stretching.

My focus this month is on
πŸ’ͺ🏼 Strength for muscle regrowth
πŸ§˜πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ Pilates for my glute injury.
πŸ€ΈπŸ½β€β™€οΈ Yoga for mental well-being and posture
πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ 2x runs per week to keep my fitness up!

Good luck to everyone running this weekend! πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

I can’t believe it was 4 years ago I was running 40k+ runs a week, training for 2 back-to-back Marathons and running sub 3.40 marathon times. Now an easy park run and morning jogs with friends is enough for me - I’m now all about the coffee β˜•οΈ finish & catching up with friends.

But it’s so lovely to reflect on these moments, because it was really was one of the best years of my life 🌟. I remember having the best support from all my friends and family, and kudos to the homemade sign.

I remmeber committing to every Tuesday track session and Sunday long run with the lovely run group at .

Looking back, it’s always motivating to know that when you put your mind to something, you can actually achieve anything! πŸ₯‡
