🏏 RED TO PURPLE: THE SAME SS BAT | TC000272

Compare the genuine before-and-after photographs of the face and rear. The original red-and-black setup made way for purple-and-black replacement stickers, with a cleaned and oiled blade and a new clear protective face sheet.

The bat remains an SS; the replacement stickers change its appearance, not its manufacturer.

Thinking about a refresh? DM BAT CHECK with clear photographs, the work you have in mind and your deadline. I’ll assess the options individually; structural concerns may need an inspection before a firm quote.

🏏 READY FOR A BAT ASSESSMENT?

Send clear photographs privately so I can understand your bat and the work you have in mind:

• Full face and back
• Both edges and the toe
• Handle and close-ups of any concern
• Your required work and deadline

DM BAT CHECK to Thorne Cricket with your photos. I’ll assess the options, discuss a quote and confirm an individual timescale before a booking is agreed. Structural repairs may need an inspection.

POV: When you apparently forget which hand you broke… 😂🏏

Brilliant POV footage captured by Shehzad Hussain on his Ray-Ban Meta glasses during Chingford’s Bank Holiday Monday friendly against Walthamstow.

The ball goes up, I see the opportunity, and instinct takes over… 🫣

A one-handed, full-stretch diving effort to my right, using the same right hand where I fractured my 4th metacarpal back on Saturday 11th July 2026.

Unfortunately, the result was exactly the same as my first game back on Saturday 15th August 2026 — a spectacular attempt, followed by the ball hitting the ground! 😂

After the Saturday 15th August 2026, three games on Club Day on Sunday, and now this one… you'd think I'd have learnt by now. 🤦‍♂️

0 catches. 2 spectacular attempts. One recovering hand. 😂

I'll take the effort… the catching can come later! 💪🏏
