The Salem Express was built 1976 as a passenger ferry, sank hitting a reef 1991. 578 passengers, 78 crew. Reports of 1,600 people overboard with only 180 survived.

The SS Thistlegorm is one of the most famous wrecks in the world. Built in 1940 a 126m long freighter, carrying military equipment during World War II.
9 crew lost their lives on 6th Oct 1941 while anchored when sunk by two German Heinkel He 111 Bombers looking for the RMS Queen Mary.
