My professional golf career started in 1991 when I turned pro after a very enjoyable time as an amateur at Surbiton Golf Club in Surrey where I made a lot of good friends. Once I qualified as a PGA professional I dedicated myself to be the best teacher/coach I can be. I have been lucky to teach and meet some fantastic people in the last 20 years and I would like to think I have played some part in

I’ve had a few bets on The Open
Here’s who I’ve gone for
Who do you think will do well?

Here’s my bets for my main choice is again, he did us all proud at the and his game looks to be in great shape, he’s sounding positive in interviews and I think he’s better prepared mentally than last time it was held My other bets are all e/w to finish in the top 6 Jon Rahm, & .vtonder I’m sure it will be a great few days of golf, let me know your thoughts on who will win or do well

Wow!!! What a !! Not much to say that hasn’t been said but what an achievement for and such an exciting watch, hopefully there will now be more majors to follow

Another fantastic round by gets him in the lead with 18 holes to go, let’s hope he can get the better of this time! My other picks still not too bad a good chance of a top 10 for Morikawa and even an outside chance to win for but I’d take a top 10 and Rory to win.

Pretty good second round for my picks, only Sergio missed the cut and what a round by , come on Rory!!!

Pretty good start for all my picks all at par or better just gutted for Rory, it was going so well until the double bogeys on 15 & 17, if he can keep playing like the first 14 holes and no more big scores I still think he can win it, come on Rory!!

It’s that time of year again! Very excited for the start of the Here’s my bets for the tournament, I’ve gone big on I really hope he can do it to join a very select group of players to have won all 4 majors, it’s a lot of extra pressure but he’s playing well and I think he can do it this year. Morikawa is a great ball striker and is right at the top of the stats for strokes gained tee to green a huge metric when it comes to who does well at Augusta. I’ve also gone for Lowry as he’s very high on strokes gained overall so shows his all round game is in good shape. Akshay Bhatia has been playing well and Augusta has favoured lefties in the past. My next 2 are Aaron Rai and Sergio they may not win but Sergio did well at Liv recently and you know that Rai will never stop trying so I thought they offer relatively good odds and may place. What does everyone else think? What are your picks? Good Luck
