If you love creativity and want to think differently, play uniquely and redefine the possibilities of your game, join our journey. We inspire players to approach sport differently. To challenge and innovate in the ways they learn, develop and play. Great players don't just play the game. They change the game. That's our mission - to change the face of hockey coaching. We work with players of all ages, abilties and backgrounds, opening them up to different sporting philosophies and styles from around the world. Our team includes world-class international hockey athletes; up-and-coming junior internationals; experienced coaches and innovative thinkers from different hockey cultures. We share a passion for nurturing talent and showing players new ways to play, learn and think about the game. We encourage questions, creativity and engagement from those we coach. We create an environment for young players to connect directly with some of the best players in the world and to be mentored by the heroes they don't know yet. We provide world-class hockey camps and coaching services, from beginner to elite levels. We cater for both junior and senior players. Our models are constantly developing and evolving. We combine years of coaching experience with innovation, sport psychology and frontline thought. Our sessions are tailored to the players we coach, meaning every one is unique. That's our philosophy. Huge congratulations to EVO Hockey co-founder Chris Bowen and EVO coach Adnan Zakir, part of the Pakistan coaching team that secured bronze at the 2026 Asian Games!

An outstanding achievement — and an example of the coaching experience that players can access through EVO.

Through our 10-month Emerging Talent Programme (ETP), ambitious players aged 11–17 have the opportunity to work directly with Chris Bowen, including online sessions and individual mentoring, with in-person coaching at selected hubs.

Alongside world-class coaching, ETP provides sport psychology, development tracking and competitive opportunities to prepare players for the next stage of their hockey journey.

A 10-month performance development programme for ambitious players who want to push towards the next stage of their hockey journey.

One connected programme, built around your development across the season.

You set your goal. We help you understand what it takes to get there, then connect your coaching, competition, individual mentoring, performance psychology and physical development across the programme.

THIS IS HOW WE TRAIN.

Our in-person training days are high intensity, with a clear focus on what players need to improve and how that supports their wider development.

We start by building top-class fundamentals:

🏑 Eyes-up ball carry
🏑 Comfort on the ball
🏑 Passing and receiving
🏑 Vision and awareness

From there, we develop technical excellence and specialist skills, layering in decision-making, creativity, game intelligence and the ability to execute skills under pressure.

Because the better your fundamentals are, the more options you have — and the better equipped you are to make good decisions as the game gets quicker and more demanding.

Physical development is part of the programme too, helping players build the physical qualities they need for where they want their hockey to take them.

And the training days are only one part of ETP.

Eight weeks of top-class technical training for ambitious U10–U16 players, starting 30th September in Chiswick.

Each week has a different technical theme – including running with the ball, dribbling, challenging & tackling, shooting and more – giving players the chance to work in real depth on the skills that can make a difference to their game.
