🎯 TTMDL Week 3: Draws Dominate as Six End All Square!
Week 3 delivered a night of shared spoils and statement wins, with three played whitewashes, one 3–1 victory, six draws and one awarded bye. After two weeks of clean sweeps, suddenly nobody wanted to give an inch!
Dunky The Destroyer continued his ruthless start with a 3–0 victory over Chris The Marksman McBride. Three weeks, three whitewashes — The Destroyer is making his nickname look less like banter and more like a job description. The Marksman, meanwhile, is still searching for his first win.
Scott Rampage Ramsbottom kept his revival rolling, following last week’s victory with a convincing 3–0 over Adam The Assassin Sutton. Rampage is gathering momentum, while The Assassin was firmly disarmed this time around.
Matt Bullseye Berry completed the night’s trio of played whitewashes, defeating James Kamakazi Kerr 3–0. After a tough opening week, Bullseye has now recorded back-to-back victories. Kamakazi’s search for a first win continues — there are easier places to find your feet than the TTMDL!
Harry Hurricane Kerr claimed the night’s only played 3–1 victory, defeating Chris Valhalla Simpson to make it three wins from three. While draws were breaking out everywhere else, Hurricane kept blowing through the opposition.
John Warrior Williamson received a 3–0 awarded bye against Dan The Knife Stanley. The result goes down as a victory for Warrior, although no match was played.
Then came the stalemates — six of them!
Harrison Firestarter Flint finally dropped his first legs of the season as Alan Tomahawk Thompson held him to a 2–2 draw. After consecutive whitewashes, Firestarter found someone willing to turn down the heat. Both players remain unbeaten.
Andy The Gardener Plant got his season moving with a 2–2 draw against Danny The Dazzler Speakman. After two defeats, The Gardener finally has something growing — and it isn’t just the pressure!
Vinny Hell Boy Hall and Jonny Prize Fighter Poxon shared the spoils in another 2–2 draw. Hell Boy couldn’t land the knockout, and Prize Fighter had to settle for honours even.
John Stacker Mac and Dave The Rave Poxon also finished 2–2. That makes consecutive draws for both players — apparently neither fancied going home empty-handed.
Paul Powerhouse Speakman opened his account with a 2–2 draw against Daniel Tornado Thompson. A welcome result for Powerhouse after two defeats, while Tornado steadied himself following last week’s loss to Firestarter.
Ste Hunter Parkinson and Simon Pieman Poxon completed the draw collection with another 2–2. Both stopped the losing run after difficult Week 2 outings — although neither managed to take the whole pie home!
