Great performance from our U11s this morning testing themselves in the U12 league 👏⚽️🍀

Greens U8 at thier 1st banding tournament this morning up at Whitehaven Academy.

Great morning of football played by the greens this morning, they played well every game creating lots of chances and we seen some great team moves often end with a shot or a goal. Even when behind they didnt give up and worked hard and got something out the game, really great to see. Defensively very solid also, working hard and all players getting back to limit all opponents to very few chances acorss the morning. 💚

All players gave a good account of them selves this morning but players of the morning were

Coaches player- Was Albie, at times he was unplayable today, drifting in and out of players with confidence often followed by a shot or a pass, he was working hard in defence also getting stuck in a helping his team. Also really good in goal as always well done mate. 👏💚

Opposition coaches player- Was Lennie, another really great performance by him. Strong in the tackle and then finding a pass to get our attacks away, also some great dribbling as always threatening the opponent every time he was on the ball. Playing for his Granda today who sadly passed away yeserday, and what a performance it was. He will be looking on proud as always big man! 😢👏💚

Celtic 3–0 Whitehaven Amateurs

Celtic opened the scoring from a set piece, with Ethan Lock arriving at the back post to finish brilliantly.
The second goal came through Riley Towers, who turned his man before calmly finishing to double Celtic’s advantage.

Celtic continued to press and were rewarded with a third as Logan Penn broke through and found the back of the net to make it 3–0.

A strong all-round performance from the lads, with another clean sheet and plenty of positives to take from the game.
