What a fantastic way to finish the season! 🎉 Today was our end-of-season Presentation Day, packed full of friendly matches ⚽, games 🎯, raffles 🎟️ and, of course, plenty of trophies 🏆.

The girls should be incredibly proud of everything they have achieved this season. Throughout the year they have shown excellent skill, determination, teamwork and sportsmanship, whilst making sure there has always been plenty of fun and laughter along the way 😊💜. Every single player thoroughly deserved the awards they received today.

A huge thank you also goes to our amazing coaches 👏. Without their dedication, commitment, patience and countless hours of volunteering, we simply wouldn't have the successful team we are today. Your hard work is truly appreciated by all the players and families.

After the Easter break, it was great to get the girls back into the swing of things with a club friendly against the U11 Pinks. It was a tough, closely fought match, but the Purples dug deep and came away as victors! 💪

To top it off, we finished with a fun penalty shootout — plenty of smiles all round! 😁

What a fantastic game for the Clitheroe Wolves U11 Girls today! We came away as winners against an equally talented side, which made it an exciting and closely fought match from start to finish. Both teams showed great skill and determination, making it a brilliant game to watch for everyone on the sidelines.

A special mention to Rose, who scored the winning goal in a super close game — perfectly positioned at just the right moment to finish the chance and seal the victory! 🌟

Player of the Match goes to Isla, who drove the ball forward all game, worked tirelessly across the pitch, scored, and played her role exactly as expected. A well-deserved recognition for a top performance!

What a battle from our Purples in today’s Xmas Cup Final!

Played in awful conditions against a very strong, well-organised side, the girls showed incredible determination and character. Although the result didn’t go our way, they battled right to the final whistle — and that’s all you can ever ask. You can’t win them all, but you can always be proud.
