💜⚽ WHAT A PERFORMANCE FROM THE PURPLES! ⚽💜

A fantastic game of football from our Clitheroe Wolves U12 Purples today! 🐺🔥

We went into the game without a goalkeeper, but that’s when the team spirit really showed. 💪 Three of our girls stepped up and volunteered to take a full stint between the sticks – a brilliant example of putting the team first! 🧤👏

And what a TEAM performance it was! 💜 Everything the girls have been working on in training came together today – supporting each other, working hard, moving the ball and playing for one another. They dug deep, pulled together and came away with a thoroughly deserved win! 🙌⚽

A huge well done to our opposition too. They showed real strength, grit and determination throughout and kept battling right until the end. 👏 Today just wasn’t their day.

🌟 PLAYER OF THE MATCH – SYDNEY 🌟

What a performance! 👏 Sydney stepped up and played a full half in goal for her team before coming back outfield in the second half and finding the net time and time again to help the Purples build a strong lead. ⚽🔥

But today was about the whole team. Every girl played her part, backed her teammates and showed exactly what can happen when the Purples pull together. 💜🐺

Well done, girls – you should all be proud! 👏💜

Onto the next one… let’s keep this momentum going! 🚀⚽🐺

Another tough game for the Purples today, but the girls kept battling and working right until the end! 💪🐺💜

🌟 **PLAYER OF THE MATCH – ISLA** 🌟

What a performance from Isla today! 👏🔥

She was absolutely tremendous at the back and quite simply worked her socks off! 🧦💨 She made tackle after tackle, battled for every ball and stopped so many chances from turning into goals. Without her determination and hard work, we would definitely have conceded more.

She never gave up, kept fighting right to the final whistle and gave absolutely everything for her team. 💪⚽

A thoroughly deserved Player of the Match🏆💜

⚽️💜 **FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON!** 💜⚽️

And what a match to kick things off! 🙌🐺

Our Clitheroe Wolves U12 Purples started incredibly strongly, taking a commanding lead and controlling the match superbly throughout the first half. The girls played some fantastic football, worked brilliantly together and really showed what this team is capable of! 🔥⚽️💜

Unfortunately, the second half didn’t quite go our way. We missed a few chances, lost some of the momentum we’d built, and our opponents managed to fight their way back into the game and take the win.

It was a tough result to take after such a brilliant start, but every single one of the girls worked hard and kept going right until the final whistle. 💪💜

First games of the season are always difficult — there are things to learn, things to work on and plenty of positives to take away. We learn from it, build on that fantastic first-half performance and come back stronger. 🐺💜

Onwards and upwards!
