Since sharing my news earlier this week, I’ve been completely overwhelmed by the love, kindness, hope and positivity that has come my way. It felt like a really big step to share this news after spending these last few months quietly processing. But I am genuinely moved by the beauty and support from you all.

Thank you. Truly. I dont have the words!❤️

My friends and family have helped set up a fundraiser through Yes to Life (a charity dedicated to supporting fundraising for life saving cancer treatment) to help me continue the integrative treatment and support I’m currently pursuing, and to help me work towards accessing personalised dendritic-cell therapy in Mexico.

I'm also raising funds to allow me to continue the weekly costs of supporting my body with metablic coaches, naturopaths, nutrition, supplements, private blood tests, mistletoe infusions and much more.

The reality is that this comes with significant costs, and I can’t carry all of that alone.
My longer-term goal is to raise around £150,000 to eventually allow me to access life saving Dentritic Cell therapy abroad. However in the short term I am hoping to raise around £8000 to fund my immediate supportive treatments in the short term. Currently my monthly infusions, supplements and appointments with practitioners cost around £2k per month which until now my family have kindly supported me with.

I’m not asking anyone to believe there is one magic answer and of course there is no guarantee that any one treatment will have a lasting impact. But what we are hoping for is to continue my quality of life while saving up for life saving long term prospects.

I’m asking for help to keep my options open.
To keep supporting my body to fight this.
To keep choosing life, joy and belief over fear
To keep moving forward.
To keep showing up for my beautiful girls and to keep doing the work I love teaching yoga and meditation.

If you feel able to donate, even a small amount, I would be incredibly grateful.

And if donating isn’t possible, sharing the fundraiser could make an enormous difference.
Thank you for standing beside me with so much love

Hello lovely people. It feels strange to be writing this after being so quiet for so long.

If you’ve wondered where I’ve been, there is a big reason I’ve stepped away. Life has taken an unexpected and enormous turn.

In July I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. It’s a rare and complex adenocarcinoma which has spread to my ovaries and the lining of my abdomen.

The last few months have been a whirlwind of processing, learning, researching, asking questions and making decisions — all while trying to stay present for my children and for the life I love.

And the strange thing is… I don’t feel ill.

I still feel like me.

Some days I feel incredibly strong and full of energy. I’m still a mum, a yoga teacher, a cello teacher. I laugh, make plans, walk, teach, breathe, meditate, dream… and last night I was rollerblading with my daughters and having the most fun ever! ❤️ Tonight I'm teaching my Seasonal yoga class by the sea in North Berwick!

My oncologist has been very honest with me. Without treatment, my expected time may be less than a year.

I don’t want that number to become a prophecy.

I choose hope.

I believe in the resilience of the human body, in possibility, in doing everything I can, and in the fact that my story is not finished.

I’m exploring an integrative approach alongside my medical care, working with practitioners, researching options and making choices that feel right for me. I’ll share more about this soon.

One thing I would really love to say…

Please don’t feel you need to reach out with apologies, “I’m so sorry”, fear or worry.

The greatest gift you can give me is hope. Belief. Hold the possibility that my body can overcome this. Believe that I am strong, capable and doing everything I can.

I may not have the capacity to reply individually, but I will feel the love.

Please come to me with hope, belief and life. Because that’s what I’m fighting for. And most importantly...

I’m continuing to teach:
🌿 Seasonal Yoga — Thursdays 8pm, Abbey Church, North Berwick
🌿 Mum & Baby Yoga — Thursdays 11am, North Berwick Community Centre

You may have noticed I’ve been a little quieter on here recently.

Not because I’ve been retreating from life, but because I’ve been travelling inwards.

The yoga sutras have a name for this -'pratyahara' — often translated as the withdrawal of the senses. Not an escape from the world, but a conscious turning of attention away from the noise and distractions of the external world and back towards the wisdom that lives within. Like a tortoise drawing its limbs into its shell, there are seasons when we are called to gather our energy, simplify, listen deeply, and tend to what matters most.

Tomorrow feels like a portal into a new chapter of my life. I have my final CT scan and the results may shape how the next chapter of my life unfolds, and of course there are moments when fear and uncertainty creep in around the "what ifs." Miracle cure, life changing surgery or anything in between. But strangely, this moment feels less like an ending and more like the beginning of a new phase of my spiritual journey.

Again the yoga sutras have name for this (this is why I LOVE yoga!) They call it Ishvara Pranidhana — surrender to something greater than ourselves. Not giving up, but letting go of the illusion that we can control every outcome. Trusting in the wisdom of life, of the body, and of the unfolding path before us.

My relationship with surrender has changed profoundly over this past year.

What began as a white-knuckle ride has gradually softened into something gentler. Less resisting. Less forcing. More trusting. More allowing. More faith that whatever comes next, I will meet it.

A beautiful weekend spent surrounded by dear friends, sharing love, wisdom, laughter, connection and simply being together in the most beautiful setting, felt like the perfect way to mark this threshold. A reminder that even amidst uncertainty, life continues to offer moments of extraordinary grace.

And perhaps that is what surrender really looks like.

Not knowing what comes next, but opening your heart to it anyway.

Endless gratitude to the beautiful people in my life...you know who you are! 💗 and to my darling husband.. soul mate and love of my life.

I honestly don’t quite have the words… but thank you 🤍

There has been so much love, care, and kindness pouring in lately, and I feel so deeply grateful for every message, every wish of strength, courage, and belief as I approach my next scan. It’s all been truly felt.

As you know, I’ll be taking a couple of weeks away from our seasonal yoga classes to really go inwards as I approach my final scan.

I’m holding a lot of hope and excitement though to return to our beautiful practice together in June… watch this space 🌿

In the meantime, so many of you have been asking about ways to keep practicing with me. And (true to form!) I’m not always the best at talking about what I offer — I get so wrapped up in the joy of creating and teaching that I forget to share it… not exactly top-tier business advice 😅

But if you feel called to practice with me over the next few weeks, I do have my online video library available via my booking page.

These collections have been lovingly designed, created and filmed from 'The Wee Yoga Cabin' at the bottom of our garden and are the perfect way to learn more about Seasonal Yoga as well as deepen your connection to your organs and energy.

My newest collection, Awaken into Spring, is designed to support your body and mind as we gently transition towards summer. I know so many of you are holding a lot right now, or finding it tricky to make it to class — and this is exactly why I created this space.

It’s a practice that meets you where you are 🤍
From your living room, your garden, or even on holiday…
Pause when you need, take your time, move in your own rhythm.

Inside you’ll find:
✨ 2 seasonal yoga flow classes
✨ 1 deeply restful yin class
✨️1 nourishing restorative class
✨ Breathwork practices
✨ Meditation
✨ Gentle Qi Gong session
✨ A talk on metta (compassion)

Over 3 hours of practices, with 12 months access — there whenever you need it.

If it feels supportive, I’d love to welcome you there.

DM me for details or check out the link in my bio . The library is available on my booking page.

With love, always

A little hello from me 💓

I’ve sat with whether to share this, as I’m naturally quite private. But after the beautiful response to my dear friend post yesterday, and all the love and support that’s come in (thank you 🤍), it feels important to be open.

Firstly… I’m still here. I feel well, and I don’t currently have a diagnosis. On the surface, life has been quite normal. But over the past year I’ve been monitored for a serious health concern, and I’m now a few weeks away from a potentially life-changing surgery.

Alongside this, I’m holding hope. Trusting my body’s wisdom and its capacity to heal before my final scan in a few weeks. Apologies to the NHS for being such a dam rebel and turning down so many surgery dates....I just keep listening to my body!!

This past year has been one of the most challenging and transformative of my life. Navigating fear, uncertainty, motherhood, and the waves that come with raising my neurodiverse little ones has been deeply humbling… and at times, incredibly isolating.

It’s been frightening. Exhausting. But also an invitation.

To slow down.
To soften.
To receive.
To trust.

Healing isn’t linear. Some days I’ve felt broken and afraid. But beneath it all, there’s been a quiet, steady trust in something greater.

Thank you for the kindness, messages and prayers. I feel them all.

And to anyone who’s stepped back from me during this time, there’s no judgement. Only love. I understand these situations can be deeply triggering and I hold only love for you.

This experience is changing me. Slowing me down. Bringing me closer to what truly matters.

It's also made me really examine my relationship with social media and what it means to be genuinely authentic and connected to people. For this reason I may be a bit quieter here as I reflect on how I wish to show up in this platform.

For now, I’m focusing on rest, healing, and trusting my body as I move towards my final scan.

You’ll still see me out running or in the sea — I feel strong in many ways.

And if you’re navigating uncertainty too… I see you. You’re not alone 🤍

Thank you for being here.

Waking up with sand on your pillow… always the sign of a very good evening ✨🌊

Our first beach class of the year last night was just magical. Feeling the elements, moving with the rhythm of the waves, and sharing a beautiful seasonal practice on the sand with such lovely souls. Feeling very blessed to have spent the evening with such amazing humans💛

These pop-up beach classes will stay a little spontaneous (just how we like it this time of year!) — guided by the weather, tides, and my availability.

If you’d like to join, we have a small WhatsApp group where I share weekly possibilities. Just comment BEACH and I’ll send you the details ☀️

For those who love a regular rhythm, weekly classes are still running (and will head to the beach whenever we can!):

Here's where you can practice with me each week:

🌱Seasonal Yoga - Weekly Classes
📅Thursdays
📍 6pm — Longniddry Parish Church (or the beach!)
📍 8pm — Abbey Church, North Berwick (or the beach!)

And if getting to class isn’t possible right now, you can still practice with me from home 🤍

My Awaken into Spring on-demand library is now live — over 3 hours of nourishing practices including Yin, Restorative, seasonal yoga, breathwork, meditation + a bonus hips class.
£25 for 12 months unlimited access.

I can’t wait to share more beach evenings with you this Spring 🌿✨
