Very good bowling surrounded by some beautiful flowers on Coulson Cup day.
The winners were the Golden Oldies, with Jaja runners up. Both teams kindly donated their winnings to the Colchester Bowls Club charity - St Helena Hospice. A wonderful day and a wonderful result for the Hospice. Thanks to all who made this possible.

Well done Colchester for a great win 101 - 73 against Mistley/Manningtree in our annual match playing for the Handley Plate.
This is our first win for four years, so we'll done again.

What a fabulous Fun Day we had yesterday. 7 sideshows including putting, croquet, soft ball, cans, domino's, shobak and jenga. Games on the green finishing with "Last Man Standing" which was won by Janet. Perhaps we ought to rename that game ! A fabulous BBQ then tea and cakes in the afternoon. We ate, we drank, we played and raised money for St Helena Hospice. With good weather the day was one of the best.

Even the rain in the week and the worms on the grenn couldn't stop us from having a super Closing Day Match.
Worm casts cleared, rinks set up and blessed with the sunshine for a great afternoon of bowling.
