Week 34/52
All work and no play makes me bloody miserable so this week the kiddies had a sleepover at Nanny and Grandads (twice) 😂 once when I was working and the other when I was playing (Becky Hill) 😁 ⚖️.
Also realised in the whole school holidays I have only had 1 bottle of wine 😲. Those that know me know this is NOT normal 😂 so I swiftly strolled to Sainos for a bottle to right the world 😁.
I Managed a bit of movement too, 2 runs, 1 pilates class and hoop 🎉 exercise definitely makes my head feel clearer and makes me a better mum but it's sooooo hard to keep routine and put your own needs first when the kids are around 😵💫.
The rest of the week included looking after my niece and nephew, Rosie's gotcha day 🎈, eye tests, walks, dens, sooo many snacks to name a few.

What's the best compliment you can give an instructor? I'll share a few of mine ...
1. "Oh my god, I really need(ed) this today"
2. "I couldn't do that when I started!"
3. When covering "loved that, when do you teach?"
4. People choosing my class week in, week out
5. Your warm chit chats about life before and after class
6. "You always know exactly what my body needs"
7. "I didn't even know I had that muscle"
8. Any and all of your lovely messages about anything and everything, I love hearing from you 🤍
9. "I can really tell when I haven't been to class"
10. "My back/knee/neck/elbow hasn't been as bad lately"
Community & the mental/physical benefits for you are number 1 always 🫶🏻

What if exercise wasn’t something you had to do, but something you genuinely wanted to do?
Finding movement that feels good for your body can change everything..... your energy, your mindset, your confidence and the way you connect with yourself.
There’s no “perfect” way to move. There’s only finding what makes you feel strong, happy and alive.
Move because you love your body, not because you’re trying to earn or punish it 🤍.

Week 32/52
Week number 4,782,569 of the summer holidays, the days are blurring together and the pockets of time where my brain is not full of plans and noise are fleeting.
1-4 what my me time has looked like this week (and these were the *only* 4 moments). A gorgeous relaxing hour with Accredited Trauma-Informed Somatic & Holistic Tending. Essex at Rivu Club | Reformer Pilates Studio Colchester, a few hours early morning paddling with Debs Welch and our duck buddies, nail appt, an hour on the hoop 🤸🏻♀️.
5-10 some of our millions of activities undertaken trying to burn off energy and keep the cherubs entertained 🤯
11-14 work, work, work 💪🏻 the show must go on! Covering at The Practise Monday, Rivu & Langham Tuesday, Rivu & Langham Friday, Lefina Saturday & Rivu Sunday.
