A tough way to end the season, with a four-week gap since our last game not helping the rhythm.

No excuses though — we were beaten by a strong Hatfield Peverel side who are always organised and hard to break down.

Plenty to take from the season as a whole, and we’ll come back stronger. Well done to everyone for the effort and commitment throughout 🖤💛

No fixture for AFC Pegasus Colchester this week, but we’ll be back on 18th April ready to finish off the season in style 💪

AFC Pegasus 3️⃣ Great Bentley 1️⃣

AFC came away 3-1 winners against top of the table Great Bentley to throw the title chase wide open.

Bobby Turner scored 2 goals to put us 2-0 up. Bentley then scored before Liam Oliver made it 3-1 with a great finish from distance.

With only 12 players due to injuries and work commitments, this was a real team performance and shows exactly what we are capable of. The players gave absolutely everything and will have slept well.

We have now beaten three of the teams that have been top of the league this season.

The club wishes Jake Vaughan from Bentley all the best after suffering a serious injury yesterday 💛🖤
