🫶🏼THANK YOU 🫶🏼

Can we just take a moment to thank every single person who shared, liked, tagged and reposted our video about our missing suitcase.

That video reached 356,500 people. We genuinely cannot thank everyone enough for the support. We have been completely overwhelmed by the kindness, amount of shares and messages from you all❤️

For anyone who has been following the story, we finally got our suitcase back on Monday.

The suitcase was taken back to Dublin by Aer Lingus after the cabin crew “missed” it during their checks of the overhead locker, despite us asking them multiple times to check when we landed in Santiago. The suitcase then remained on the aircraft for the flight back to Dublin, where it was eventually discovered by the crew on the ground there.

We only found this out because Karri managed to get in contact with the pilot from our flight.
We submitted a report to claim the suitcase, hoping Aer Lingus would arrange for it to be sent on to us in Spain. Unfortunately, they didn’t respond to the claim, answer our calls or reply to our emails.

So, when we landed in Dublin on Monday evening, we were determined that we were not leaving that airport without it.

Thankfully, we got the case back that evening (after the aer lingus staff member laughed about the situation) without so much as an apology from Aer Lingus.

One thing we can absolutely take from this: PUT AN AIR TAG IN EVERYTHING🙃

And finally, a huge shout-out to First Officer Max from Aer Lingus. Without you, we would probably still be wondering where our suitcase was and thinking someone had randomly ended up with it.

To everyone who helped us get the word out, thank you. Truly. 🫶🏼

🇪🇸✨ TAPIA 2026✨🇪🇸

As we return home and reflect on an incredible trip I just want to take a moment to say thank you to each person who made this trip so special💛

First and foremost, thank you to Festival Intercéltico d'Occidente for welcoming us and giving our dancers the opportunity to perform, experience new cultures, make memories and share their love of Irish dance🍀

To my amazing dancers, I couldn’t be prouder of you! 💃
There were a few setbacks along the way, but you showed incredible resilience, supported each other, kept smiling and never gave up. You embraced every moment, had so much fun and made memories that will last a lifetime🌟

To all the parents and families thank you for your support, encouragement and for trusting us with such a special trip. Your patience and positivity helped make the whole experience possible ❤️

To Millview Embroidery & Promotional Products for our tour kits and our beautiful costumes. I’m so glad a few of the costumes made it to Spain so we could wear them for a couple of the events🫶🏼

And finally, a massive thank you to our wonderful sponsors for supporting our dancers and helping make this opportunity a reality. Your generosity means so much to us and to the whole school. We will not forget that🙏

Despite the bumps along the way, we came home with smiles, laughter, new friendships and unforgettable memories🇪🇸☀️

Here’s to the adventures, the challenges we overcome together, and the memories we create along the way! ❤️

Tapia 2026.. one for the memory books! 🇪🇸💃✨

More pics and videos to come🫶🏼

The update everyone has been waiting for🥲

Turns out, no one took our suitcase, it was in the overhead locker all along and the crew thought it was theirs. Even though we begged Aer lingus to triple check the plane and they claimed they did.. So the case went all the way back to Dublin..

SOO Karri and the girls headed to the market today and found these skirts.

We enjoyed every minute of our performance and realistically who cares about what we wore?

Not the update we all hoped for, but the show is done and there’s nothing we can do to change it now🥲💛

I am so proud of every one of these girls for stepping on that stage tonight. It’s been a rollercoaster of a week and they have dealt with every set back like complete professionals. I am so proud of you all.

Karri x

‼️URGENT HELP NEEDED‼️

If anyone on here has connections with Aer lingus we desperately need help.

Someone has mistakenly taken one of our hand luggage suitcases from the overhead locker when we arrived into Santiago today.

This suitcase contains 8 dance costumes, pumps and heavy shoes required for our performance at Festival Intercéltico d'Occidente tomorrow.

Flight details:

- 12:50pm Dublin to Santiago De Compostela
- Airline: Aer Lingus
- Suitcase was in the overhead locker above seat 29F

We have reported it to the airport but any help would be appreciated.

Please share.
