A few of our regular guests are at the World Championships in Borders Wood this weekend, good luck to you all. Things at the Hawks were a little less competitive today and fun was had by all. There were some notable entries today; Jon Newton-May came in with a very creditable 54, with our lady Kim May hot on his heels with her personal best 53: cracking round today, Kim! Phil Beaton hit his groove and returned a solid 52, just missing out on targets 29 and 30, probably feeling the excitement a bit - great shooting, Phil.

Paul Bradford and Kev Wickson carded a 52 and a 51 respectively, not in the least overshadowed by others - steady performances, chaps.

Here are the remainder of the scores:

Simon Whittick 46
Kevin Allen 43
Phil Beaton 52
Keith Paddington 44
Seb Mazurczak 37
Zach Mazurczak 39
Ray Munnery 45
Kim May 53
Paul Bradford 52
Jon Newton-May 54
Kevin Wickson 51
Mark Williams 41

That's it for this report. See some of you at Meon next week and back at the Hawks next time.

Well, another great turnout of friends and members for the shoot on Sunday 16th August. Weather was fine, just a touch of a breeze to keep the field in it's usual state of a bit tricky. Some excellent scores returned, with Mr. Vant coming in as top gun with a fine 56 points. Appetites were satisfied for all those that ordered the usual fare, plus free tea and coffee to keep hydration up.

So, on to the scores, in no particular order:

Martin Dudley 47
Steve Britland 55
Steve Corney 42
Simon Vant 56
Ray Munnery 45

Dave Wade 55
Phil Moody 48
Jon Newton-May 54
Kev Wickson 54
Paul Bradford 49
