🔥 Meet Leanne
For the last 2 months, Leanne has been showing up for her weekly PT sessions with me... When we first started, Leanne could walk for less than 1:30 minutes on the treadmill with assistance... Today, she hit 5 minutes of unassisted walking.
Leanne lives with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), so training isn't a luxury; it is a necessity.
Every rep, time doing balance work & minute on the treadmill is a fight against her condition
We all have days where we feel "too tired" or find reasons to skip a session. But when you see someone like Leanne whos dealing with a chronic condition and still showing up to put in the work it makes you wander

👀 Next time you’re on the abductor machine, I want you to try this.
Instead of just dropping the weight when you reach failure, we are going to change our body angle to gain mechanical leverage and push the muscles even further.
1️⃣ The Hover (Lean Back): Start by standing and leaning back. Drive through your feet. This isolates the Glute Medius in its weakest, most challenging position. Go until failure.
2️⃣ The 90° Sit: Drop straight into the seat upright. You now have more leverage to keep working that Glute Medius. Go until failure again.
3️⃣ The Forward Lean: Finally, lean forward and grab the frame. This puts the massive Glute Maximus (your "shelf" builder) into a deep stretch, giving you the strength to finish the set strong. Go until absolute failure.
