✍️CORBY SUNDAY 6-A-SIDE LEAGUE MATCH REPORT
It was great to welcome TDP FC to the league who were impressive on their debut!
⚽️In the Premier League, The Catalina W**e Mixers started their campaign with an impressive 7-1 victory over Weldon Park FC. The team’s success was largely due to the phenomenal performance of Luca Gillespie, who emerged as a clear standout, netting four goals to become the division’s top scorer. Other matches in the division saw P**a and Pals fall 7-0 to Net Six And Chill, while Steel Park Tossers edged out Lodge Park Lions 4-2.
⚽️In Division 1, the first week of play saw a stunning draw between We’re Not Fit FC and Boohoo Mothers, with both teams scoring four goals. Velocity United, however, couldn’t keep up the pace, falling to Lakeside FC in a 6-0 defeat. Lakeside FC’s Romeo Rundaba showed his mettle, scoring three goals to secure his place as the top scorer of Division 1.
⚽️The Division 2 matches were no less thrilling. Toastie FC set the pace with an 8-0 victory over C-Town FC, largely due to the efforts of top scorer Alfie, who contributed four goals. TDP FC secured a narrow 2-1 victory over Cheese FC, while Madri Men and Jack FC ended their game in a 1-1 draw.
